A unique experience where you'll learn the secrets of sour-dough.
My mum is a sourdough expert. She learnt the bread baking technique from her grandmother and keeps doing it even now.
You will prepare and bake your own-unique bread loaf in a wood-fire oven.
Later you will enjoy it and combine it with our herb-flavoured extra-virgin olive oil.You’ll also taste some side dishes we’ll prepare and copious amounts of local wine.

Incredible experience with Veerna and Kosta at their farm house. We enjoyed learning the ins and outs of bread making, and using the ingredients they produce at home to make our breads unique. Having it at the end with all the other dishes was a satisfying way to end the session. Thoroughly recommend if you are visiting Crete!!

AMAZING experience, was the highlight of our 7 day trip to Greece. The hosts were so wonderful, made us feel right at home and comfortable the entire time. Their knowledge and food were exceptional and we shared many laughs and drinks after lunch! Would highly recommend to any travelers looking for a very unique and authentic experience. Will return if we travel back to Crete, for sure!

My friends and I had the most lovely experience baking bread with Veerna and Kosta. Their beautiful hospitality and warm welcome was unparalleled. Beyond that, we were introduced to Veerna’s bread making techniques through a hands-on experience where each of us customized our breads with toppings and scored the top of the bread with decorations of our choosing. After our bread was baked in outdoor oven, we partook in many mezethes (traditional Greek appetizers). We cannot recommend this experience enough to those wishing to be immersed in traditional Greek baking and the famous Greek hospitality! It was sincerely the highlight of our trip to Chania. We had a wonderful time at the sourdough bread cooking class. 2 adults and 4 children. The food was delicious! They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and great with kids. We will come back.
