This is a full day tour to two beautiful and important historical sites: Cholula and Puebla, which is only 2 hours from Mexico City.

You will continue your tour visiting the Church of Santa María Tonantzintla, this Franciscan temple is extremely interesting because it is an example of the "Indigenous Baroque".

The Archaeological Zone of Cholula has three areas enabled for its public visit, firstly the Site Museum of the Archaeological Zone of Cholula with its three permanent exhibition halls; secondly, the route inside the tunnel inside the Great Pyramid that consists of approximately 280 meters of route in the same plane, artificially illuminated and without risks that the visitor may get lost, and finally the so-called open area of the Archaeological Zone of Cholula constituted by the ceremonial patios of the south and the west of the Great Pyramid of Cholula.

The church of Santa María Tonantzintla was declared a historical monument on November 11, 1933; It has four constructive stages that go from s. XVII to XX. It has a simple façade that seems not to announce the profusion of elements that are inside, presenting sculptures of clear indigenous manufacture in three niches at the front, and four in the tower, representing the evangelists carrying the message of God to the four directions.

The Cathedral Basilica of Puebla, as it is known to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception according to its Marian advocation, is the episcopal seat of the Archdiocese of Puebla. It is one of the most important buildings of the historic center declared a World Heritage Site. It has the prerogative of being the first sumptuous temple that under good designs was made in America, consecrated in 1649 it went ahead to the Metropolitan of Mexico that was dedicated in 1653.

The chapel of the Virgen del Rosario is the chapel attached to the Temple of Santo Domingo in the city of Puebla, Mexico. Work of the seventeenth century, the peak of the baroque novohispano, was described at the time as the House of Gold, as well as the eighth wonder of the world by Fray Diego de Gorozpe, in a form of 1690.

The creation of this library was approved by royal decree in December 1647 and reconfirmed by Pope Innocent X in 1648. Me gusto y pase una tarde agradable con mis amigos, pero siento que lo hubiéramos podido recorrer solos, creo que no era necesario. Aún así es estuvo bien y la atención fue buena! Puebla es hermoso y ahí sí les recomiendo 100% que vayan.

George was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much during the tour. I would avoid doing this tour on Sunday because some of the sights and most of the shops were closed. The car was very comfortable and the driver was also great!

Carlos and Christian took us to Puebla. This was a second trip with Carlo’s and Mexico Freelance and this time with family. We had a great tour. They take car of everything and make the short journey easy. The tour itself is full of knowledge and history and amazing local experience. We highly recommend this tour

The tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Carlos was a walking encyclopedia of Mexico and Puebla. We learned so much and loved the vive of Puebla that plan to return for a longer stay to explore this city in length.

We got the private tour to Cholula and Puebla. Bruno was our guide and Christiano was our driver. They were very polite and very accommodating. Bruno was knowledgable and helpful throughout the tour. I highly recommend them for your tour experience.

The tour guide Veronica was very knowledgeable & the driver Carlos was a very nice & careful driver.
The views of the volcanoes were awesome. Puebla was a very charming colonial town with majestic cathedral at the center of town.In Cholula the base of the pyramid was ver impressive in its depth but I was a little bit disappointed that it was just a small part of the pyramid
that was visible. However it is still an amazing archeological site. You get a view of Cholula and Puebla on top of the pyramid which also has a Catholic Church
on it.
