IN A HOT SUMMER DAY THIS IS THE BEST AREA TO COOL DOWN AS IT IS ALWAYS COOLER IN THE HEIGHTS.This tour offers you a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, and you will enjoy mother nature and the stunning view from the highest point of the city. The hills of Buda offer a calm and relaxing area with the fresh air. It is always a little bit cooler in the hills 527 meters or 1600 feet so it is a nice getaway during the hot summer days, in winter it happens often that while the city has rain in the hills there is snow. With transportation and guidance, you can experience the beauty of this area and the nature in the territory of a National park. This is a favorite recreational spot among locals and a perfect place for nature lovers but not known by visitors as it is a little bit far from the city but can be easily reached by car.

It was my favorite part of the trip even though getting on and off the lift was a little scary. Our guide was warm, informative, patient, and probably my favorite host of all 14 foreign countries I’ve been to thus far. I highly recommend this experience with this guide. I’m sad I cannot remember his name. It is an experience I will never forget. I felt valued, respected, and got way more for my money than I could’ve ever expected.

Really cool find and a nice relaxing way to get a really good photo of the land below. Staff were really friendly!!! A definite must do in Budapest (and they take your photo on the way up and down for a great memory keepsake). Took us about 20 minutes to get on transport from buda hill x

Viktor was a super tour guide! We were a small group of 6 and it was great. The chairlift gives the most amazing views of the city. Well worth a visit.

Chairlift is a bit far away from the centre of town but is a wonderful peaceful moment in an otherwise busy city break. The park at the top looks awesome but I didn’t have the time to wander around. The trip down was a lovely surprise (I won’t spoil it) and I really enjoyed the chance to see more of Buda that I otherwise wouldn’t have without going here. I’m a skier, so I love chairlifts anyway - it doesn’t go too high, for anyone with vertigo - lovely peaceful and safe

It was awesome! Victor took care of everything in advance so there was no waiting in line. The lookout point offers great views and I highly recommend it! Victor was also very knowledgeable about history and Budapest and I enjoyed the experience. Thank you!
