If you are in Europe under the NATO SOFA please read carefully before booking. The trip was probably okay, but I don’t know since I wasn’t allowed to go. The tour organizer sent a link to check passports to ensure we could enter Gibraltar and return to Spain. I used the link and all was good so we booked the trip. At the pick up site on the morning of the tour, our tour guide told us that we likely could not go because we entry into Europe was under the SOFA agreement as a civilian with the US military. He said we did not have to go but they would not refund the money for the trip. He also said we may be able to go. Given the choice of maybe get in or stay in Seville and lose our money, we went on the trip. When we got to immigration, we were not allowed to enter Gibraltar so we had to wait the four hours of the tour in the small town at the border. Our tour guide, Miguel, was great. He was empathic and knowledge. The company, however, was terrible for not highlighting a known issue for many Americans. They should have offered a refund or to rebook on another tour once they did discover the issue.

Had a great time with Petra - she was very enthusiastic and seemed to care deeply about the information she’s giving us, which was nice. The organization of the tour itself is a bit touch and go as it can depend on customs lines; luckily the line going in wasn’t terrible, but going through border control coming out added an extra 30 min in the sun. Pack a cap and plenty of water. Monkeys were super cute and we could go see them in the feeding cave; a lot of them even posed for photos. Definitely wear lighter weight clothes as there’s a decent amount of walking. St Michaels cave was nice as well, light show was a bit disappointing but overall fascinating to look at. Would definitely go again, and kudos to Petra for making it such a fun experience.

The biggest problem and the biggest disappointment was that the microphone in the bus didn’t work so basically it was only a bus drive (almost 3 hours there and 2,5 hours back) without getting a single information about Gibraltar or the region / culture/ from the guide. We booked an organised tour with a guide hoping to get to know things, to get many information from the local and so on. Unfortunately nothing like this happened.
So basically we were only taken there in a full bus together with 42 other people. As soon as we arrived to Gibraltar we got more than 2 hours of free time (again no guide, no one showed us the city, we had to explore it by ourselves). After that there was a bus tour like 1 hour (this time with a local guide), we had 3 stops where we could get out of the bus for some minutes to take pictures.
After that we were taken by our bus back to Sevilla.

You can decide if you want to do this for such money or would be better to do a tour completely by yourself…

Great tour from Seville , saw most of the main points of interest , and nice to have some free time on the Rock. Angel , our Gibraltar driver was an expert on getting around the twisty roads and was full of useful tips .

This review gets 3 stars because Gibraltar is really cool on its own. Definitely worth seeing. The cave and monkeys are interesting as well. The tour loses points bc our bus had no working speakers. We couldn’t hear what was happening on our way to Gibraltar and our guide could have done a better job once we arrived and at several stopping points to repeat instructions. Many times it felt like we were just blindly following with no idea what was happening.

When we went on the bus tour that was included it was pretty short and the bus was late to arrive. If there is a tour where you have more detailed information given I think I would recommend doing a different tour.

The main thing we got out of this was transport to and from Gibraltar. The bus tour and the cave tour were so abbreviated I would recommend a different tour. .

Petra and Sandra did a fabulous job. Ride was comfortable and tour was nice. We were originally scheduled to stay in Gibraltar but due to health issues had to cut trip short but this tour covered the main attractions

We had a wonderful day trip to Gibraltar with Petra. The tour was a good balance between free time to explore as well as to see the different locations on the tour itinerary. Petra was excellent in explaining how the day would unfold as well as guiding us throughout the day as we travelled to and within Gibraltar. Highly recommend this tour to others!

The tour director, Petra, and the local guide, Toni, were exceptional - energetic, funny, knowledgeable. They kept the spirits high and upbeat. The experience was well worth the drive. The reasons I am not giving the tour 5 stars are: we had to wait for the local bus for 30 min in the hot garage structure and the tour of the rock seemed to be a bit crammed.
