Fast as Falcon Superman Ride

Staff was super friendly and the Superman was thrilling ! We took some great photos and vids. When we first got there they were on hold due to wind so we took a hike and relaxed in the geothermal river -which was awesome. We had lunch at the café on site -also awesome- and then took the buggy to the platform and flew through valley at breakneck speeds. Totally worth it !! A+

My son and I drove up from Vik and did this zipline on our way to the airport. Everything went smoothly. The staff were professional, very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the time of our life!! I added the video to my cart but when we got there they said the video wasn’t working so they refunded me for it. However a lovely couple in our group took the video of us and shared it with me. So it all worked out well. The video is a definite keepsake so if their video isn’t working ask if they can record using your phone.

This Superman zipline is done lying down on your belly and is like paragliding and zipline in one. A very cool and unique experience. It’s a MUST do!! We will forever remember this thrill of a lifetime and the views are incredible. Very scary when you’re about to launch but as soon as you start the zipline, it literally glides and you DO feel like a majestic falcon overlooking the gorgeous landscape that is Iceland: the volcanoes, mountains, lava fields and streams.

This was so much fun! I’d done zipwires before but always sitting, so I was nervous about trying the ‘Superman’ position. But the instructor put me at ease, and although it was over incredibly quickly as I went so fast, I loved it. The views are awesome – I could see the Westman Islands from the top of the tower, and the views over the valley and the snow topped mountains were fabulous. Going up the steps to the top of the tower was a bit tricky as the harness restricted my movement and it could be challenging for people afraid of heights. I’m so glad I bought a copy of the video as I’ve been able to relive the experience as much as I wanted. It’s very professionally done and I think worth the extra cost.

Initially booked for myself, granddaughter and her friend. It was too gusty to fly, however they went out of their way to reschedule to accommodate us. We chose a time outside of their schedule the next day. I was issued a prompt refund for my portion as I was busy in Reykjavík. I definitely plan on going in the future to experience it myself. My husband relayed the highlights and the kids got their video. They thoroughly enjoyed it, I could hear my granddaughter laughing throughout. I had researched how safety conscious they are and watched how perfectly they directed and slowed them down at the end. Thank you Mega Zipline for your consideration and superb care.

This was an unbelievable experience from start to finish. The operators are a father and son team and worked brilliantly together to put my mind at rest. I had booked The Flying Bird ride and The Freefall initially but could not pluck the courage up to jump on The Freefall. The son was extremely patient with me and tried his best to calm me down. My apologies for holding up the rest of my group and big respect to those members who did the Freefall.

I loved The Flying Bird so much I immediately booked to do The Flying Falcon afterwards.

Both rides were brilliant and fun. The equipment, safety features and the professionalism of the operators were just simply outstanding.

I would thoroughly recommend this ride to people and even if you have some initial fears put your trust in the operators as the rides, scenery and the feeling of flying were superb.

Amazing experience. Great welcome and an incredible buggy ride up to the tower. Absolutely exhilarating. I did the superman and Elaine used the seated method. Cannot recommend enough. Run by a great bloke and the younger lad was superb. Get it booked. It has left a smile on our faces all day long.

AMAZING ride! Would absolutely do again. Only downside was electricity was out at the site due to local construction so we couldn't get a video of the ride. Would absolutely do it again though and plan on it for the next trip!

It was slower than expected, which really took the expected thrill out of it.

They explained this was because of the wind, but that didn’t really make it any better

This is as MUST DO experience in Iceland. Make sure you complete and send your disclaimer form back before you go! The process was very easy to check in, get your harn as fitted then get dropped off half way in the van. The walk from the van to the platform is a moderate walk and I’d recommend good walking shoes and a moderate level of fitness but it is very much worth the effort. My wife and I were carefully prepared and connected to the track and safety harnesses then the gate opened and from there it was WOW!!!! Incredible superman flight over the waterfall and valley and such great fun. Definitely recommend this experience. 😃
