On this two-hour shared tour along the Douro River aboard a classic boat, you can admire the beauty of the banks of the city of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia while relaxing with music and the sounds of the surrounding nature.
We are the only sailboat to cross the D.Luis I Bridge, which allows a two-hour ride from the mouth of the Douro to Freixo passing through the 6 bridges.
Our boat has several areas with sofas for your comfort, allowing for a more intimate experience if you wish.

Amazing!! Worth 10 stars from start to finish. Bruna and O Captain welcomed us with a glass of port, and a life jacket and a pirate hat for our little one. Bruna then served a tasty cheese and meat board. We had a relaxing sail up and back. Then O Captain put up the hammock for the sunset photo ops. The nicest folks with such an interesting story! Absolutely loved it!

Amazing experience with great accommodating hosts! If you're looking for a more personal experience rather than the larger boat tours, I would highly recommend going with this Classic Boat tour! The hosts were very nice, accommodating, and created such a fun and personal experience. The boat could fit around 10-12 people comfortably. They provided refreshments (wine, water, soda, etc) as well as as a charcuterie board for food. When it got a little chilly, they even brought us out blankets. There is a hammock on the back of the boat that you can get fun pictures with as well. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend booking with them on your trip to Porto to get a beautiful view of the city from the water.

We had a truly amazing time on the tour with Happy Douro. The sailboat was perfect for our small group (we actually had it all to ourselves!) and the owners were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. From the welcome drinks and food to the music to the blankets when it got chilly - they truly thought of everything! The ride was smooth and gentle with incredible views. Absolutely recommend this tour and a great price for everything provided! It was a perfect way to end our trip in Porto and Portugal.

This was the hghlight of our family trip to Porto! Perfect for families with kids and they even provided pirate hats and a toy pirate ship to play with during the ride. Food & drinks were excellent and the crew was very friendly. Thanks for everything!

We had a lovely boat trip along the Douro with Happy Douro. This was a special boat unlike the huge ones most visitors were on, and nicer than the more modern boats speeding along. We enjoyed the relaxed pace and the attention of our hosts, the traditional music playing and the drinks and snacks provided. Lots to see on both sides of the river and we actually got a better feel for the layout and scale of Porto, looking at it from the river. A really nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Porto stole our hearts, and this was a wonderful trip on the last night of our stay to see Porto and Gaia from the river. The hosts were fabulous, bringing a glass of port, snacks and blankets, and taking photos. We shared the trip with one other couple, but there was plenty of room on board for us to feel like we had our own space. Loved the music (although it got a bit cheesy towards the end for me). At the end of the cruise we sat and watched the sunset from the water. It was so beautiful!

I loved everything about the tour! The boat is beautiful, which means you can take fantastic photos with magnificent views! The crew members were extremely friendly to us, always taking care to ask if everything was ok. Tour to repeat for sure.
