WOW….2 hours 45 minutes of drama, the history, the courage of one woman and the struggles to become Simply The Best.
At the details of this production are magnificent and listening to the dialogue and the singing (well it could be Tina herself) such is the brilliant cast who have clearly spent time mastering their roles and it shows, from Ike to Tina and indeed all the cast, tell a story that in some parts is difficult to watch, but it is true to the events and that is the show’s strengths.
All the songs we know are there and the ending is an audience participation mini concert and one and all in the theatre stood to applaud the magnificent actors. Singing and taking photos/video is not allowed when the production is preformed, but at the end you can’t help yourself and take a few pictures (that is the only time pictures are allowed)
We have seen a fare few musical productions and this one is definitely up there with the best, if not The Best.
We came out of the theatre buzzing with excitement and thoughtful of what this lady went through to realise her dream.

Fabulous show - the singing and dancing were amazing. The stage sets and costume design were superb. An emotional life story told through Tina Turners songs. The lead was fab and the Grandmothers voice was truly amazing - made the hairs on my arms stand up.

I loved this show. It did a great job of weaving Tina Turner songs into her biography. The star of the show when I was there had an incredible voice. And the supporting players, such as the actor playing Ike Turner, and Tina's mother, were also wonderful. I was staying at a hotel that was less than half a mile from the theater so was able to walk back afterwards. I would love to see the show again.

We spontaneously got two tickets for the Tina Turner musical on the internet.
The seats were very tight but the musical was great. The actors were great, they performed the songs perfectly and energetically, especially at the end of the musical.
Great even for non-musical-goers!
