The kitchen is located in a 550 sqm store, where you can also see and buy our gorgeous hand crafted ceramics, lava stone tables and liquors made from our family since 1899

The host to our house booked us a cooking class so I wasn’t sure what to expect since I didn’t research and book myself like I normally do. When we arrived we were greeted with appetizers and a wonderful lemon spritz made with their very own limoncello.
After settling in, our chef Sylvia guided us in making tiramisu, eggplant Parmesan and gnocchi. Sylvia was such a warm, delightful woman. She was so funny and told us stories instantly making us feel like we were part of her family, I wish. It was easy to follow along and our lunch was delicious.
There was no pressure to make other purchases, the entire store was very nice and inviting.
Sylvia must have made quite an impression on my college age son because upon returning home in the USA he promptly went to the store and purchased the ingredients to make his girlfriend the exact same meal. Now it will be my turn to recreate our meal. I hope I can achieve what he did.
We would love to return.

My husband and I found Silvia's cooking school on Viator at the last minute as the class we had booked before coming to Rome was canceled at short notice. We really enjoyed Silvia's humorous approach and all her tips on cooking, especially the ones on ravioli. We also made zuchinni parmigiana and tiramisu. We highly recommend Silvia's Cooking School

We loved this little shop, the cooking class and Chef Sylvia so much! We just happened into the storefront, and when I wandered into the back and saw the kitchen, I knew immediately we were doing this cooking class. We signed up and came back for dinner. It was such a great time. Sylvia is equal parts chef and entertainer. We got three hours of entertainment that included the meal, drinks and fellowship. There were nine of us in the class. Everyone was super enthusiastic about it, and we really enjoyed getting to know everyone a little bit. Highly recommended and totally worth it if you are looking for an experience.

Sylvia made the cooking experience wonderful. The recipes were delicious and simple to make. She explained step by step, showed me the proper techniques and gave me the hands on experience. I highly recommend.

Chef Silvia Cello is awesome. Extremely friendly, so much that I felt like I have know her all my life. Cooking class was perfect, and classmates were all friendly and like us, really enjoyed the experience. I would do this again if I come back. Silvia made it fun and even if you don’t cook, you will enjoy her and she will make your experience well worth it. Thank you Silvia!!!

Sylvia was incredible! She was so engaging and taught me so many things. On a good day I can burn toast really well, but even I managed to make ravioli, eggplant parmagiano and tiramisu. All credit to her! Would highly recommend this to anybody.

Fantastic cook, Sylvia, who spoils her guests with her company and the purest dishes of Sorrento. Learned from her grandmother, these are the dishes you want to remember. It was great! We recommend this to everyone.

Chef Sylvia is the BEST ! Her laughter, stories and cooking lessons were a true delight and oh so YUMMY!
Starting with a small appetizer, we made Tiramisu, gnocchi and eggplant Parmesan. Add limoncello, wine and a small liquor tasting at the end. DELICIOUS! We already know when we come back we are taking another lesson!

Chef Sylvia was amazing!!! I did this class with my parents and we all said it was the highlight of our trip. Not only was the food amazing, but Sylvia was the best instructor/person ever. She balanced us doing the work with her doing the difficult/tedious parts perfectly and was super enthusiastic the whole time. Everyone should take this class!! We will always remember Chef Sylvia forever and are so grateful we chose her class. :)
