Mount Esja Iceland is a mountain range formed by volcanic activity eons ago and is a sight to behold when gazed down from above. Also, it's the closest tourist destination to Reykjavík. From the panoramic views of the city to the basalt rock formations that seem unreal, you cannot help but fall in love with mount esja.

We loved the experience of riding in the helicopter and seeing Reykjavik and surrounding areas from a completely different perspective. We were able to see Reykjavik, the harbor, Sky Lagoon, Blue Lagoon, and more from above. We also saw the lava fields that were active as recently as 2022 and landed on a mountaintop to take photographs of scenes we otherwise would have never seen.

This experience was great. Starts with the gentleman that pick me up, continue with the pilot, and the other couple of people. Flying onto the glaciers and see the tectonic plates from above was excelente..

Wonderful service, everything went smoothly. Pilot was fantastic and entertaining. The ride and overall experience was a once in a lifetime and a very different viewpoint to experience Reykjavik and surroundings. Took my parents (70 plus) and they were very well looked after. Would recommend to everyone;)
