This cooking class was brilliant - our chef-teacher Jose was excellent- very patient but also fun. He inspired us to take risks - we would never tried to flambé anything - let alone alpaca meat! We were surprised how easy it is to make ceviche and José emphasised the importance of presentation. It was very interesting to see inside a professional kitchen and a privilege to get the chance to cook there. Jose also taught us how to make the great Peruvian cocktail Pisco sour. A brilliant experience - highly recommended.

Wonderful experience in Cusco. Would recommend to anyone. I felt that it was a good value for the meals you get (ceviche, lomo saltado, cocktails). Plus we learned a lot about the culinary history of Peru. We especially loved our guide Alejandro who was very kind and entertaining.

We had a wonderful time with our chef instructor Alejandro. There were only four of us in the class so it was a very intimate experience. He gave us a great background of Peruvian food and we enjoyed seeing the different products in the small sample market that they have. We enjoyed making lomo saltado and ceviche as well as two pisco drinks. We also had two additional appetizers prepared by the chef so we were very well fed! Go hungry!

We did this course on the 3rd day of our arrival in Cusco, and we had a great time! Very enriching at the start of your stay to better understand the history of the country and its culinary development. The explanations are rich, and our chef was absolutely perfect, she took her time (there were only 2 of us!). The dishes are excellent, everything is finely prepared, the cocktails too, little surprises too…
We highly recommend this activity, which we were delighted with!

What a great experience in Cusco! Jose Luis was a gracious and engaging host who showed us how to cook ceviche, Lomo Saltado and the best Pisco sour! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. Even if you don't think that you can cook, Jose Luis will lead you through it -- all while having a great time and learning a little about Peru's deep culinary history. Don't miss this!

The instructor was rude when I got there and I left. I tried to explain that we were having a misunderstanding and he raised his voice asking what is my real name.
