They said “by car”, but If you are in your own, they will take you in a motor bike, advising you only with one day in advance. After that one underage boy came without helmet for me, so I had to request this to the hotel.
In addition to this, the driver was accompanied by another 2 kids, younger even (that were in another bike), like his brothers of friends. And they just communicated between then without taking care of client.
They said “customized” and that’s not true. They have already planned everything and only think that requested was going down to the water in Angels billabong (that was the faster and easiest one), because after going with bike from east to west in a very hot day, I really needed and the kid told me No, we need to come back to the hotel. The tour was so fast, without being able to enjoy any spot, only to see the place and take pics and even not stopping for taking a bottle of water. I was ended up destroyed and dehydrated. So boring as I also I cannot mingle with driver. Obviously they were kids so they didn’t have the experience of communication skills to guide an adult.
The tour was supposed to be 8 hours but because the driver wanted to finish as soon as possible, this made it in 7 hs, going with the bike so fast and making very quick stops.
Also the lunch was in a very crowded & dirty place, that summed up to the fact that the driver wanted to leave asap (after being waiting for the food 30 mins + 10 mins for the cutlery), wasn’t nice at all.
Only positive things: good driving skills (otherwise with that speed and challenging roads, it could be worse) and not bad photographer.
If you just want to see the island in bike very fast and take some pics quickly, as you don’t have more time, this can be for you.
But if you want to enjoy a bit in the spots, don’t take it. Your Accomodation can offer you something cheaper, in a car and really customized. I regret to have done it in this way

Very supportive Guide ,Locations are beautiful ,if solo prefer Using motorcycle to avoid traffic ,try early morning or late evening for more beautiful views

This was a perfect day! Komang was an excellent driver and photographer. He was kind and spoke very good English. I would highly recommend this tour.

Took this tour from our hotel on Nusa Penida. The tour company is run by local residents from the island. The guide (Wayan) was prompt for pick up at 8 am. He was incredibly kind and courteous - started with west side of the island and we could customize which destination to go to first which was a bonus - went to the T-Rex beach to beat all the daytrippers who usually see the sights in a fixed order.
Wayan was extremely helpful - took care of me after I was suffering climbing out from the beach and never rushed our tour.
Lunch was at a local restaurant with a set menu but with many simple choices.
East side of island in afternoon and back to hotel by five.
Highly recommend. Beautiful island!
