The Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud, Bali. It houses approximately 340 monkeys which are known as long-tailed Macaques (Macaca fascicularis). There are four groups of monkeys each occupying different territories in the park. The Sacred Monkey Forest is a popular tourist attraction in Ubud and is often visited by over 10,000 tourists a month. In the Monkey Forest, you can walk around and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The forest comprises approximately a tenth of a square kilometer (approximately 27 acres) and contains at least 115 different species of trees. The Monkey Forest contains the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal temple as well as a "Holy Spring" bathing temple and another temple used for cremation ceremonies

Ubud is most well-known by international travelers as the greenest part of Bali because it has a lot of tourist attractions with green features, such as lush forests, ridge walks, and rice terraces. One of the most popular green attractions here is Tegallalang Rice Fields. Also known as Tegallalang Rice Terrace, it is a series of beautifully arranged paddies which follows the traditional Balinese irrigation system called “subak.” The system is said to have been passed down by a sage named Rsi Markandeya in the 8th century. Tegallalang Rice Fields is situated in a valley that offers extraordinarily scenic lookouts over the terraces and surrounding green landscape. Along with the ones in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan, Tegallalang Rice Fields form the three most stunning-looking terraced landscapes in Ubud region Since it has been listed in UNESCO World Heritage site, this place has gained popularity among international travelers. Gunung Kawi Sebatu is a Hindu water temple dedicated to Vishnu, who is said to rule over water. The site is located in a dip in the land and is surrounded on three sides by stonewalls and the fourth by a steep forested slope. The temple complex is built on a natural spring, which feed a series of ponds and pools A combination of all the greenery combined with the water features gives Gunung Kawi Sebatu a calm and peaceful atmosphere. In fact this is probably one of the prettiest temples in Bali and it’s very likely that you’ll have the place almost to yourself when you visit.

One of the busiest water temples in Indonesia, Tirta Empul is a temple considered sacred by Balinese Hindu community. The temple has several holy springs which are said to have been created by The God Indra and believed to be blessed water that could purify those who bathe there. Tirta Empul is dedicated to Vishnu, the Hindu God of water. In the Balinese language, Tirta Empul loosely translated means water gushing from the earth, which for this reason Tirta Empul is regarded as a holy spring. The Tirta Empul Temple includes shrines to Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, as well as one for Indra and Mount Batur. It is considered one of the five most holy temples in all of Bali and is considered one of the holiest water sources in Bali. You can also find other holy water temples in Bali such as Pura Ulun Danu at Lake Beratan, Pura Tirta Tawar at Gianyar, Pura Tirta Harum at Bangli, Pura Tirta Taman Mumbul at Badung, and many more.

Goa Gajah also known as Elephant Cave Temple is a historically significant archaeological site and one of the most popular tourist attraction in Bali. The Elephant Cave Temple of Goa Gajah dates as far back as the 11th century. Built on a hillside where two streams met to form a river junction, the site was deemed sacred and the temple was built for prayer and enclosed meditation

Magnificent experience and memory. Wayan took us to the most scenic views in the island, touristic and local spots, hidden gems, showing the Balinese culture. 100% professional, safe driving and always arriving before was planned.

We have relied on this company throughout the 8 days we were in Ubud. We hired it for two reasons: because the guide (Wayan) spoke Spanish and because we wanted to visit various points on the island, leaving from Ubud every day. Unfortunately, Wayan became unwell a few days before our arrival and we were assigned another driver (Putu) who only spoke English. Luckily we also spoke English. We would have liked to do the visit in Spanish, especially since we found Wayan at one of the furthest waterfalls from Ubud, a sign that he was feeling better, but he did not offer to continue with the service as we had initially contracted.
However, the attention of Putu, our driver, was excellent at all times. He adapted to our needs, recommended the best itinerary based on the places we indicated and was constantly looking out for us. He was a good conversationalist and thanks to him we learned a lot about the Balinese culture and way of life. The only aspect that we didn't like was the insistence on visiting certain businesses where it was clear that they took a commission, although when he saw that our refusal was categorical he accepted it gladly. The price of €50/day may seem a bit expensive for Bali's price level, but if you take into account the time dedicated and the personalized attention, we can assure you that it was worth it.

We have spent 6 days sharing our trip with Wayan as a guide. I can only say good things. He is kind, honest, attentive, flexible and punctual. He knows the island very well and his recommendations have been a success. It has made the trip easy and fun. But what would stand out most is the love with which the Balinese culture has taught us.
One of those people that you are glad to have crossed paths with. It will be a pleasure if life brings us together again.

Our guide was Iwaian. A magnificent experience that I recommend 100%. He is very kind and respectful. The car is very clean and well equipped. He helps you in everything he can to better organize the route, avoiding traffic jams or adapting to the weather in case there is torrential rain at some point during the day. He is very punctual and does not cause time problems at any time.
In addition to logistics, he also knows a lot about local customs and religion and tries to convey it to you in a simple way, and he is a great photographer. He brings his camera and then gives you the card so that you have the memories in the best quality possible. A charm in everything.
We have been there for 6 days and he has charged us 50 euros/day.

My wife and me were with Putu during 4 days.
Since the beggining It was very easy to organize every day with him. We saw all the most important places in Bali (temples, waterfalls, etc).
Putu was always helping us with photos and with all our questions. Also he helped us with transfers, doubts with hotels and boats.
If you are thinking of traveling to Bali, I highly recomend him!

My family spent many days with Putu in Bali, and it was great. Putu helped us with everything, he organized us to go to Nusa and his company was incredible, he helped us a lot with our son Hector, he took photos and acted as a guide. thank you Putu for everything

We spent three days visiting Bali with Putu Arya as a guide. Since the beginning he make us feel comfortable and safe during our trip. He explains you every little detail about life in Bali, how people live and their culture, take pictures of you on the places we visit and he is always with a positive attitude!
During our trip in Indonesia we have different drivers around the different islands and Putu has been the best one for us!
If I come back to Bali I will contact them again!
