I propose a touching tour in YANAKA area, which will give you the chance to know a good old-days Japanese life-style and its traditional culture!

You will take a walk dressed with Yukata or Kimono together with AKIZAKURA's Kimono Upcycled Umbrella.

This was a great experience for my first time in Tokyo. We booked it somewhat last minute and Sayoko was flexible and clearly communicated. We ended up adding on the tea ceremony which was also very interesting to be a part of and witness. They were all kind, welcoming and it was such a pleasure to meet and be in the home. I would highly recommend this experience!

Sayoko is so nice! I love my pictures from the shrine. I have a condition that makes it hard to walk for long periods and she was very accommodating. I’m also a transgender male and she helped me with my male kimono and posing, which meant a lot to me! It was a great experience I recommend!!

We visited Tokyo, Japan in May 2024. We travelled as a family with our 2 young daughters (10 and 8 years old). One of our best memories is an afternoon with Sayoko. She was amazing, making all of us comfortable. You have to book in advance and a selection of kimonos is offered depending on size. On the day, we were dressed in kimonos and went for a walk to a nearby shrine. It was a beautiful location and a great learning experience. Sayoko was very patient, took a lot of pictures and shared them all with us. A once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget. We definitely recommend!

My mom and I had a wonderful time with this experience. Despite the rain, we had fun with the photoshoot and we learned a lot about Japanese culture. Sayoko was very nice and pleasant to talk to. She took really good care of me and my mom and she made our first kimono experience enjoyable and unforgettable. I will definitely recommend this to my family and friends. Thanks, again, Sayoko!

This morning with Sayoko will remain one of our best memories of Japan. Both professional and friendly, she immersed us in the world of Kimono, Shinto shrines, and Tea ceremony. An absolutely essential discovery of Japanese culture! And the magnificent photos allow us to relive the moment with our loved ones who remained in France.

The rain was the only part that was unpleasent in the activity. Everything else was excellent and Sayoko was really the best. Communication was smooth and clear, she provided all the information we needed and even picked us up from the hair salon. She helped us chose the best kimono and then helped us get dressed up in her place. She took us on a lovely walk to a nearby shrine for some awesome pictures (photographer included as part of our package). Sayoko always helped us all the way holding umbrellas and giving suggestions for the photo shoot. My wife got stopped on the street a couple of times as other tourists wanted to take photos with her. That was all credit to Sayoko.

Overall we enjoyed this activity very much, thank you Sayoko! Recommended without any hesitation!
