The Jeep will take you to The Reunification Palace, also known as Independence Palace, is listed as a historical monument by witnessing great changes of Ho Chi Minh City’s history (formerly known Saigon) and having in itself the essence of Eastern culture. Throughout the heroic battles, this amazing work of architecture had witnessed almost every high and low of the Vietnamese war.

Saigon Central Post Office was also built in the 1880s based on the design of Gustave Eiffel – a famous French architect.

Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon is a cathedral located in the downtown of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Established by French colonists who initially named it Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Saïgon, the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters (190 feet).

The Saigon Opera House was custom built in 1897 by the French architect Eugene Ferret. It is one of the top venues in Vietnam to listen to opera and classical music.

Dong Khoi is known as a million-dollar street or where land is more expensive than gold. There are houses for sale up to VND 1.5 billion per sqm, setting a new record high in Vietnam.

Being the biggest road of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Hue Walking Street spans 670 meters from the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee edifice to Bach Dang Wharf, respectively, and measures 64 meters in width. What’s different about this compared to any streets in the area is that it is installed with automatically-operated mist-emitting systems and lined with over 200 trees and 122 large tubs of flowering creepers. That creates a greenish landscape for the whole street and eases your mind whenever you come there.

Bui Vien Walking Street, a nightlife tourist attraction in Saigon, is an ideal venue for Western guests and young Saigonese to come to eat and hang out every time they go down the street. Bui Vien street is so-called “Western Street” (Pho Tay) referring to its Western culture-orientated features. Before becoming a walking city, Bui Vien street was crowded with backpackers coming here to have fun, try unfamiliar cuisines and explore a new place during their trip to Saigon.

District 2 in Ho Chi Minh City is one of the biggest urban development areas in Southeast Asia. The show case redevelopment project is the Thu Thiem New Urban Area, which is touted to become the new central business district of Ho Chi Minh City. New cities are usually built far from the city centre. In the case of District 2 it’s opposite the historic old city, on the other side of the Saigon River. Ho Chi Minh City has an opportunity that is unparalleled for a city this size. Thu Thiem is located on a peninsula of land where the Saigon River meanders into an almost full circle. It’s planned to be the new financial district of HCMC, taking the pressure off the buildings and roads of old Saigon.

We had an amazing time with our guide Hoa and our driver. They showed us all around Ho Chi Minh and we learned a lot about its history. We felt safe the entire time and had such a great time as Hoa had so many stories. Would definitely recommend!

This jeep tour was so much fun. We had just arrived in Saigon and really needed to get the lay of the land. This tour was perfect for seeing the different neighborhoods and key sights. Seeing the city at night was special with all the lights.

What a fun was that please ?! Gobi did such a great job entertaining our group of 11 people. It’s an amazing experience to see the city sights out of those historical jeeps…there is nothing comparable in Saigon…in between stops for Vietnamese coffee and all major historical sights completed the trip. We concluded the tour in the sky at with food drinks and pool and a wonderful view over Saigon. I can absolutely recommend Gobi and the team of drivers to anybody visiting Saigon. Thank you so much for all your flexibility

As an older couple from Germany, we had a great night tour through HCMC with our tour guide Hai. We were driven through the illuminated city of millions in a well-maintained US American jeep and were able to admire the skyline. There were always interesting stops with insights into the nightlife and the hustle and bustle of the city. These impressions rounded off and enriched our trip to Vietnam. The food in the street food restaurants was incredibly tasty and his friendly and cheerful manner made us feel very comfortable and safe.
We can recommend this wonderful tour together with Bui Van Hai to everyone.

We had an amazing tour of the city we did not have a long stay in Ho Chi Minh and it was a great way to experience the city.
Was fun to be in the Jeep checking out the sites and streets of Ho Chi Minh. We got to see the beautiful buildings, experience the streets, and try some food we wouldn't have with our guides' help. The view from the rooftop was awesome. Our guide Hai and driver did an amazing job, we had a brilliant time.

This private night tour in Saigon is an experience not to be missed! At night, pedestrian streets become lively, loud, chaotic and full of energy. By Jeep, you feel a part of the busy nightlife. Hai, as our guide, added fun and laughter to our evening, while keeping us safe and organized. He captured video and photos for us to remember the evening. Highly recommend this tour as a way to appreciate another aspect of the city. And Hai makes it a great experience.

This is genuinely a good and interesting tour with lots of infos. I also liked that we left the jeep for a 20-30 minute walk through a super busy small food markets area which was out of this world for me. Reminded me more like something you would see in Pirates of the Caribean. Sitting in the jeep, drinking some beer/water was relaxing and no stress. That is what you want in your holidays. Organization worked well with flexible starting and pickup times of your choosing. The reliable organizer is very responsive over his whatsapp number.

Absolutely incredible way to see the city at night. Our guide was so helpful and lovely. You can’t describe what you’ll see from the back of the jeep!

This is a great first night in Saigon activity!!

Tips;
Women wear shorts or pants. I wore a dress and it was totally fine, just would have been easier in shorts.
Make the tour what you want, our guide was awesome and let us just chill in the car however if we had have wanted multiple photo opportunities and dinner he would have been incredibly accommodating so don’t be shy!
