A very memorable and well organized tour and tasting. We enjoyed the unexpected trolley tour before hand. Our guide, Itzy, was amazing! Very informative and entertaining! I have so many recipe ideas and rums to try and buy when I get home! Highly recommended!

I learned a lot from the host of the tour, he showed us the difference in the 7 or 8 different rums that are made, and he explained what to pair each with, great experience.

Itzel was a fantastic tour guide! So knowledgeable and so entertaining! I went for my family, I’m not a fan of rum, but it was so interesting to learn how it’s made, to hear the history and see the distillery! Itzel really made sure we had a good time! Learning how to smell, swirl, and taste the rum was a fun experience! I highly recommend getting there a little early and enjoying the vibe in the pavilion before your tour. Did I mention Itzel is the best???

I thought it was too expensive. 30 min tasting and 15 min tour is not 1 hour and half. One small tiny chocolate is not chocolate pairing.

This was a highly recommended activity for my wife and I to explore while in San Juan. Even here in the US Bacardi is a brand that is distinguishable for rum and we wanted to have the tasting experience. Our Uber driver gave us some insights about entering the facility saying that if you were not a local, it could be difficult to enter. Bacardi did an excellent job on their communication via email and text to notify of tour information such as the preferred address to use when arriving on site. My wife and I immediately saw the modern art wall and outdoor seating area that housed the bartenders to enjoy our welcome drink and other amazing Bacardi drinks. Hidden away was a small kitchen that had affordable appetizers which we enjoyed. We had several mixed drinks that the bartenders crafted exceptionally! All the drinks were fantastic and refreshing with the view of Old San Juan from the outdoor pavilion! We got on board the trolly tour which didn't meet our expectations. This is in regard to learning more of the history of Bacardi and the rum process which seemed more commercialized. It felt rushed and we were not able to take as much information away as we hoped. The highlight of our experience was the tasting tour of Bacardi with Mary! She was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the rum of Bacardi and showed how to sample the rum properly. As this is one of the most common rums to mix globally, we enjoyed the experience overall, but wished to learn more about the history of Bacardi.

We in our group thought it was too much money for the experience. The tour is really driving you in the paki g lot from the Meeting pavilion to the main building. once in the room we had 6 wine glasses with a little bit of rum on each one and the tour was to introduce the name of each rum we tasted. after tasting that was it. you walked back to your car. we personally don’t recommend spending the money. if you think you are going to get to see distillery and barrels etc, you are wrong.
of course this is our personal opinion.
