What a great day we had with Jamie who was engaging, energetic and knowledgable throughout our walking tour of Katong. We were never bored or tired or hungry.
A day before the tour Jamie contacted us to discuss our expectations and notify of dietary requirements - and again at the meeting point took time before commencing to understand our interests so that she could tailor the tour for us to give us a great experience. We really appreciated her attention to detail and excellent customer service.
We were so lucky to have been the only tour participants that day! As a result we had a private customised tour and lots of fun discussions with Jamie about life in Singapore.
The tour course and content were great and the food tastings were absolutely delicious.
We are freqent travellers to Singapore and have visited Katong previously.
Despite this Jamie was able to show us more aspects of the local culture, discuss the history as well as new developments of the area, AND gave us a delicious food tour.
At the end of the tour Jamie went above and beyond walked my husband to the bus stop (I decided to stay and further explore) and sent me a photo of him as proof of life. What a giggle I had!
Well done Jamie, what an asset to Eat Snap Tour!

We had a fantastic time with Zaniel escorting us on this Katong Local Food & City Tour. Zaniel communicated with us the night before the tour informing us how to get to our meeting point via public transportation or taxi. I recommend you go to tour with an empty stomach. You will be full at the end. All the food we tasted was delicious! What I appreciated the most was the stories he shared with us about the history of the Katong area we visited. It’s a cool place! He also shared the history of the food we ate. I would recommend booking this tour!

We had a fabulous time with Zaniel, who escorted us on the Katong Local Food & City Tour. I appreciate the communication from Zaniel the night before to let us know how to get to the meeting point via public transportation or taxi. All the food we tasted was delicious! Make sure to bring an empty stomach because at the end of this tour you will be full. We tasted a lot of food! What I enjoyed the most was the knowledge Zaniel shared regarding the history of the Katong area. It’s a cool place to visit! I also appreciate the history of the food we were eating. I would highly recommend my friends and family to go on this tour.

This tour is a must do for every food lover. Our guides Stephen and Derek were super friendly and knowledgeable. You will eat delicious food, while at the same time learning about its background. Pro tip only have a light breakfast so you can sample all the amazing places they take you to.

Stephen and Derrick were wonderful tour guides who took us to the most authentic restaurants in non-touristy areas of Singapore, to taste authentic recipes handed down family generations. They catered to dietary restrictions and requests and we learned a lot of history alongside having delicious food. You will not be hungry at the end! Thanks so much for the great experience, we tried so many foods we didn't even know existed! 11/10

Great time on our tour today and Darius (our crazy great guide) was awesome. We elected to stay in Katong after briefly seeing it on a flying laksa visit last year and weren’t disappointed. Darius gave us an excellent blend of food, local sights and history. All the food was excellent and also a nice surprise to experience one of the foods we saw on Street foods/Netflix (putu piring). Darius knows his stuff and has a great sense of humour. This was exactly what we wanted to get to know Katong a bit better. Thanks!
