Francisco Woods was an excellent guide. He drives a comfortable air conditioned minivan. We saw all areas of town and outskirts and got out at the cigar snd jewelry store and the produce market. We chose not to get off at the square or umbrella street or the cathedral. Just passed by slowly. He had water and beer for us and even bought fresh bananas at the market. Personable and easy to understand. Warning: when you disembark the ship at Puerto Plata you have to walk 15-20 minutes through the port shopping village to reach the taxi pickup.

We had a fabulous day touring the town!!! Michel was a wonderful guide and very helpful with all of our questions. It was great to have the private tour! It felt very safe and was a lot of fun. The communication for where to meet was on point. I highly recommend this!!!

Francisco is one of the most fun and kind person I’ve ever met. Our trip was amazing! He showed us whole Puerto Plata and also made some cute photos of us while we were sightseeing:)) We had a lot of fun with him there!!

Francisco did an awesome job showing us the city. His customer service was great and he speaks perfect English if you're not Spanish speaking.
If we come back, will definitely seek out Francisco to take us where we want to go.

Our tour was absolutely fantastic. No hidden agenda. Francisco was the best. Very knowledgeable and very accommodating. Even had cold beverages for us as well as a small gift. He did not pressure us to stop and shop and offered to do whatever we chose. Would definitely use him again and will recommend to family and friends.

Francisco was great! He picked us up at our resort, took us all around Puerto Plata giving us lots of information, and even found a store that had a particular item I was looking for. He was funny and the best tour guide I could have asked for. Highly recommended!

Francesco was absolutely the most friendly, knowledgeable, and kind person! He took us to the beach, chocolate factory, cigar factory, umbrella street, central park. My sons are 19 and 21 and never bored. The restaurant on the beach was delicious and Francesco stayed with us the whole time. Please if you visit Amber Cove go with Francesco!!
