In my tour I always search to make the tourists not just to see but feel the places and people, it's like they become part of the favela too, so if you want an active experience, I'm the right person.

Great experience from start to finish, the motorbike ride to the top was an experience in itself! Gustavo was an amazing guide and spoke excellent English, loved the dancing and acrobatic show and the walk back through the favela showed a real insight into daily life, we finished off with a meal at a great restaurant.

Gustavo patiently waited for us to arrive after we got stuck in traffic and still had time to complete the tour. Great communication throughout. Gustavo made us feel very welcome and safe. Once in a lifetime experience. Would highly recommend.

Rocinha is a beautiful, safe, yet widely misunderstood place filled with wonderully kind people that is really worth visiting. The tour's program is diverse, including an exciting motorcycle ride to the top, a lively Capoeira show performed by the local kids, and a whole lot of information about the history of this favela and what life is like in it, all interspersed with stunning views and a whole lot more. Gustavo was an excellent guide who was friendly, communicative, highly knowledgeable, and always happy to answer any questions one might have. This is such an important tour with so much to offer - a truly unforgettable experience. Many thanks Gustavo!

My friend and I found the tour through YouTube videos of people who had visited. Gustavo was very friendly and the tour was well organised with the pick up items / locations and communication. My friend and I felt very safe and included all day. Gustavo talks you through each part of the favela and allows to ask as many questions as you wish.
Would highly recommend if you ever find yourself in Brazil 😊

It was an amazing experience to go visit the rocinha favela with Gustavo. Where we explored how they are living out there and get to see a live show of capoeira marital art dance. People in the favela are nice and it was safe to go visit with Gustavo. I will highly recommend everyone to book Gustavo as their tour guide to get the best experience out in Rocinha favela.

We found Gustavo through instagram and booked a tour with him, everything went very smooth. Gustavo is such a vibe and gives you a real favela tour through Rocinha from the top to the bottom. He knows everyone in the favela and make it a really nice time. We highly recommend Gustavo to get you around Rocinha, he explains everything about the day to day life inside the favela and all the projects inside. We had the best time in Rocinha, thanks to Gustavo. ☺️

We enjoyed every moment of this tour. We went on a private tour with Gustavo and he showed us all different aspects of the favela community. It was nice to have a chat with Gustavo and we felt very safe and welcome due too all the connections of Gustavo and friendly responses we received from the locals. Also after an additional request from our side he tailored the tour to our wishes. We have the feeling that we have a way better idea of the life in Rio then when you stick to the usual tourist sights in the city.

We had a really good time with Gustavo he knows the area very well we felt very safe in the favela everyone knew him in that area and he knew all the dodgy parts and all the good parts Gustavo was like a homie he treated us like we were his friends and I hope to see him again when I come back to Brazil.
