The sight of the unique Tatra Phoenix is gigantic. The trip from Gullfoss in cloudy weather up to the glacier through deep snow: unique and with an absolutely safe feeling. What was striking: despite the enormous engine power being used to its full potential, there was never even the slightest hint of a diesel cloud coming out of the exhaust.
The driver and tour guide were absolutely confident and when we got to the natural ice cave, we were given ice claws for our shoes and an introduction, and they didn't promise too much. Narrow entrance, a short walk down a few steps carved into the ice and then you see your reflection in the ice above. Insane.
Finally, the sun came out and there was enough time to take in the view of the glacier and the surrounding mountains.
A successful tour at a really reasonable price👌

A fantastic tour. Going on the monster truck is amazing, and the round trip is very entertaining because the guide explains many things about the volcano, the glacier, and local stories.
The ice cave is very cool, in a very beautiful environment. recommendable

Amazing!!! The weather was perfect and the view was incredible!! We went to the ice cave and then we could sit on the glacier and enjoy the beautiful scenery!! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing tour . My sons loved going up in this gigantic red truck . We drove through a white out. Great tour and commentary . Clean and just one of those Iceland experiences that you wouldn’t want to miss . My kids called it the red monster truck . It drove through piles of snow . The ice cave was awesome . Don’t think twice . Book it . They were very communicative when I checked about weather updates and a cancelled tour . The tours in Iceland are all weather dependent . I’m so happy that they took this tour out when we were there

Wonderful. I knew I was going to be dazzled but there. Our guide was a marvel even if I couldn't understand his name, let's call him, Vik! The super jeep ride was fun and nice with him, the discovery of the cave is an unforgettable experience also thanks to the guide.

We had a fantastic trip on the Sleipnir monster truck. Progress is sedate but the views en route to and on the glacier are amazing. We did experience a mechanical malfunction in the sub-zero temperature but our guide was brilliant and we got back safe, albeit slightly delayed. The trip was brilliant nonetheless.

Very cool truck. Fascinating scenery, narrated well by our guide. Crawling into the ice cave was one of the coolest things I have ever experienced. Imagine yourself surrounded above and below by 300 year-old ice, perfectly lit. Magical!
