Dee made the hike so magical! We had the best day on her tour. She was so kind and quickly remembered everyone’s names and where we were from. She was personable and easy to chat with. She even gave us travel recommendations for our entire trip. The scenery was beautiful and Dee made sure that we got the most out of our experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to spend time in Howth!

I spent the week in Dublin, staying most of the time around the city center. On my last day, i took the Howth Coastal Hiking tour and it turned out to be the best day of my entire trip! First of all, its such an easy trip on the Green DART line to Howth - its the last stop and you cant miss it! The meeting point was directly across from the DART station, so it was such an easy meet-up for the hike.
Howth is a beautiful fishing village with hills and cliffs..so close to Dublin City, but so completely different. Our wonderful tour guide, Dee, met us near the Howth Market, and led us through the village, then to the highest point in Howth, where we had panoramic views of Dublin Harbor and the surrounding areas (we could even see the mountains in Wicklow from the top). She told us about the history of Howth and tales of the Vikings and pirates and all of the people that had touched the shores of Howth over the centuries. She then led us down the cliffs, pointing out the different wildflowers and sea birds that lived along the shores.
We ended up back in Howth Village, where all of us went our own ways down the Howth pier to enjoy a seafood lunch! I had red pepper soup and Black Sea Bass at Crabby Jo’s and it was delicious! I can’t wait to come back to Howth!

This was a highlight of our time in Dublin- and we had Taylor Swift tickets, so that’s saying something! Sean was a wonderful host, full of stories and history, and the route is just gorgeous. It is not too strenuous- we all did it in sneakers- but it’s enough so you feel you have earned the fish and chips. The video Sean created and shared at the was a lovely touch. Thanks so much!

Sean was wonderful. He led us safely over hill and dale. I learned so much about the flora, fauna and history of the area with a lovely recitation word a Yeats poem at the close. I highly recommend!

This hiking adventure was a gem found at the last minute. We hiked around the town and saw beautiful cliffs and authentic gardens in the mountain area off the coast. Our guide was spectacular with his knowledgeable of the area and Ireland. He made it personable by getting to know a little about each hiker! It was a. 3.5 hour hike and well worth every dime!

The hike was fantastic. Dee, our tour guide, was super knowledgeable and friendly. The hike was a great workout too - nearly 9 miles of sometimes steep hills. I loved getting the photos and video from Dee that showed us the route and highlights. I recommend this tour for anyone who wants to spend an afternoon outside in beautiful country. It was a great experience!

Our family of four were looking for a change of pace from busy Dublin and this gorgeous 3 hour coastal hike was perfect! Just a quick 25 min taxi from Dublin and you’re in an idyllic coastal fishing town. Our guide, Sean, was so knowledgable about history, Irish legends, flora and fauna and more! He was so engaging and kind and made us feel right at home in beautiful Howth! Don’t miss this amazing afternoon with a terrific guide!

I only had 2 full days in Ireland and this was exactly what I wanted to see. Hearing from Sean who loves his country and his small town and seeing the beauty of the countryside and hearing stories definitely checked off my bucket list!
