WHAT TO EXPECT

All tours depart from Salem's Old Town Hall, on the three steps. A local historian guides you through the cobblestone-lined streets of this 17th century city by the glow of lantern light. Explore the driving factors behind the infamous Witch Trials Hysteria of 1692, meeting real practicing witches along the way. Learn about the rise of Salem as a world-class haunted seaport, creating some of the wealthiest families in its history.
2.
We will be strolling the cobblestoned streets of the Essex St Pedestrian walking mall. This is the very heart of Salem, which once was a Native American trading path. You will visit the site of the First Church of Salem and hear the haunting tale of the Lady in Blue.
3.
One of the most photographed sites in the city, the Bewitched statue will be your next stop. Learn how the locals *really* felt about this 9 foot bronze statue being dedicated in 2005. Why are their security cameras fixed on Samantha?
4.
We bring you to the memorial to pay respects to the victims of the 1692 Witch Trials.
5.
We discus the history of the home and visit the Gardens (with permission). We do not go inside the home.
6.
We stroll through a section of the historic district. Photo opportunities.
7.
We discuss the history of the Witch House. We do not enter the Witch House, this is an outside activity only
8.

Our guide will point out the cemetery and briefly discuss some fun facts. We do not enter the cemetery.
10.
A look at Samuel McIntire’s Hamilton Hall. This is an outside activity.

Ryan was great! We learned so much about the witch trials & history of Salem, much more than we would have learned on our own. This should be your 1st stop in Salem!

Perfect tour to get a quick and detailed history of some very haunted places. Not too much walking distance, and plenty of stops with fascinating details. Regardless if you are in Salem for a short time or a long time, it is definitely worth taking a couple hours to take this tour. If you are sensitive to the supernatural, you will definitely feel or sense something at at least one of the stops on this tour. Hillary was the best tour guide, try to get her as your guide if you can!

We had a fun, but also quite moving two hours being led about Salem by our wonderful guide, William, who knew when to be humorous and when to be serious and respectful. He has a genuine love of the town he lives in. We learned about various histories of Salem besides the witch trials, including some ghost stores, but it was his talk about the witch trials, and the visit to a memorial for the victims that were quite profound. It was definitely a great way to spend an evening in Salem. Word to the wise – wear insect repellent in summer.

I would give very bad review as they charged half day amount for 2 hours which is not good. And I will not recommend anyone to book the hotel if you are not sure that you can be a little late for 1-2 hours during the check out.

Also, please don't review 5 star to room service. if you review 5 star then they will not come again for any room service.

We only had one day to spend in Salem so we booked this tour to get a little more context to all we were seeing. And this option did not let us down!! Our tour guide was Mike who did a phenomenal job at telling us the history and all the stories. He definitely made the tour fun and exciting! Great time and would do it all over again given the chance

Dawn was very informative and friendly! The tour goes to a wide array of locations and the information shared was interesting. It is 2 hours long but very worth it. Wear comfortable shoes and get dessert after to treat yourself for all the steps you took.
