Well worth the visit— amazing frescos and statues, especially Bernini’s Apollo and Daphne statue and Caravaggio’s works. If you have time, take a walk around the park for some picturesque views as well.

Do better Viator! You are a middle man that overbooks tours. After being provided a voucher we spent money on transportation and valuable vacation time to find out the tour provider did not have enough tickets. This is an unacceptable practice and I urge anyone booking tours to go direct to the provider and cut Viator out.

The gallery was exceptional! Bernini’s sculptures are absolutely beautiful. The tour guide on the other hand, knew little to none information about the art itself. The tour guide was not worth the extra money I paid. What a disappointment

The operator of the tour - City Wonders Ltd had CANCELLED THE CONFIRMED TOUR which has been paid and CONFIRMED.
I have not received the refund since they "will be in the process of issuing the refund which could take a few weeks".
This operator cannot be trusted. Be aware of the scum and stay away.

Bernini collection was unforgettable. The gallery is relatively small but filled with such interesting art from Bernini and Caravaggio. Unfortunately, room 9 was closed without any explanation and we missed seeing Raffaelo.

One of the most fascinating museums in Italy. Some of the statues and paintings are extraordinary that one does not get to see in Sistine Chapel or Accademia in Florence. Got to see Carvaggio's work for the first time. Our guide was excellent.

We had a really fantastic tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Bernini and Caravaggio artwork. He knew so much about the history of the work and the relations between the artists and the sometimes ruthless patron. He absolutely brought the work to life. Like a professor in love with the works he had studied as a student relishing his time in the Villa park. I would very highly recommend.

Our tour guide Renata was exceptional for both serious and casual art lovers alike. My wife who is a professional artist was amazed as to how much she learned as we toured the gallery and focused on a select number of artworks. Its a wonderful building and art museum and very worth a visit especially for sculpture, even though as of this writing one floor is under renovation and is not open to the public.
