Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Positano Day Trip from Rome

Very disappointed. The tour was supposed to go to Positino but due to road conditions the bus could get through. The problem was that this was known weeks in advance and the tour company chose not to tell us so we wouldn’t change to another tour. We didn’t find out until after we left the morning of. On top of that, the whole tour seemed disorganized and felt like they were making it up as we went. Pompei was the only saving moment of the trip.

We took the small van tour and we would HIGHLY recommend it over the big bus tour. Stephen was personable and gave us info as we drove through the countryside we wouldn't get in a big bus tour. It's a long day and doing the tour with a small group enables you to do more and experience Italy on a personal basis.

Antonia was excellent! I do wish that the tour included less touristy places. Pompei was amazing but the other two stops were exclusively for tourists

This trip was amazing! Loved to be able to see Pompeii and enjoyed the beauty of Positano. Was a nice mixture of history tour and relaxing/exploring the Amalfi coast. If you want to see a lot of Pompeii, this trip may have enough for you as that part is only about 2 hours. Our tour guide for the trip was Laura; she was amazing! Very knowledgeable and friendly; was excited to answer my many questions throughout the day. She told the stories and history in an exciting and engaging way - it was obvious she was passionate and enjoyed it.

Great trip, Pompeii vist was amazing, Positano & Amalfi coast are stunning, a living g postcard! It is a long day, but worth it. Our guide Edward was fantastic!! Very knowledgeable, friendly & funny!

Me and my husband, recently took this trip, in a small group and it was a great experience.
The trip was made even more enjoyable thanks to our excellent driver, Stefano, who was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the day.
Our tour guide at Pompeii was well informed and it was beautiful place to visit The drive to Positano was stunning, with breathtaking views of the coastline. Positano did not disappoint. Its colorful buildings, shops and cafes made for a perfect afternoon.

This was a great tour that I took with my 17 year old daughter. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and friendly. We stopped in Positano for lunch and shopping, a beautiful little town and then on to Pompeii, which was just amazing. I would highly recommend this tour.

We were supposed to go to Positano but as soon as we took of on the bus our tour guide told us that we are going to Soranto instead due to landslide in Positano. I think someone should have notified prior with option to cancel from tour company or Viator to be fair. The bus trip was bit uncomfortable for 6 foot man. The stay in Pompeii which was the jewel of the trip was only 1.5 hour which is short in my opinion. The whole trip turned out to be 15 hours.

I WILL NEVER USE VIATOR AGAIN. They cancelled my group of 8 one day before my excursion due to their overbooking. My group of friends planned two excursions and they both were cancelled last minute. Wasted our days in Rome when we had everything planned.

Excellent tour! Our tour guide, Sonia J and our driver, Antonio, were awesome! Sonia provided a lot of very interesting comments and was dynamic and funny. Great value for money.
