The tour was well organized. The tour guide Chesere was fun and gave good stories and tips on what to do and where to eat. The local tour they found at Pompeii Luigi was awesome. We enjoyed the tour!!

We had the best time on this tour the staff were really friendly and were very knowledgeable, they gave us lots of interesting facts and tips for not just these places but Italy as a whole. Our tour guide knew exactly what she was doing and was very friendly, I couldn’t have had a nicer experience while on this trip.

Unfortunately the tour provider cancelled the day before our trip (while we were actively in transit to Naples). And unfortunately I had to call to find out the only options they had were 4 days later or a refund - no offer of an alternative tour or help / suggestions for how to visit Pompeii on out own were provided at all. And to add salt to the wound even though I booked from Canada and we were in Italy for the tour, the number I had to call was in Ireland and the long distance charge was outrageous on my cell.

Our trip started in Pompeii. It was a small group. Cesare was our guide for the day and Antonio was our driver. Along the way, Cesare made interesting comments about the history of the area. When we got to Pompeii we had our own private guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about him Pompeii and was a native to the area. It was just enough time to get a good feel for the place and take some amazing photos and learn the story of the eruption and rediscovery of the city.
Then we went to Sorrento which is a magical place. We eat at a wonderful restaurant with a gorgeous view. Again along the way this is Cesare told us plenty of interesting stories about the area. You had plenty of time to eat and shop. The we took the bus back to the train station.
I would highly recommend this tour. Was a great way to see Pompeii and Sorrento in one day.
