We went to the nursery tour in Sorrento. It was a really pleasant experience where our hostess Pia guided us through the family history, the Sorrento lemon, how to make lemoncello and of course tasting lemon specialties in a truly marvelous nursery setting. A recommended tour for everyone visiting Sorrento and want to experience something different from the city.

What a great way to spend an afternoon! Our hotel was just a 5 minute walk so for us the location was very convenient. Very beautiful & informative walk through the orchards. I even got to harvest a lemon!🍋
The limoncello and snacks after the tour were a beautiful touch. Along with a gorgeous, printed limoncello recipe!
The view over the sea was gorgeous, thanks for the pictures!!

We enjoyed seeing the lemons being processed and walking through the groves. The snacks and drinks overlooking the ocean were such a treat. Pia was engaging and enthusiastic. She even made sure we had gluten free bread due to a food allergy. We loved this tour and the history of lemons in Sorrento.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the private lemon tour! Our tour guide Maria (I believe that was her name) was so sweet and knowledgeable about this history of lemons, we learned so much. The property is beautiful, she walked us through the groves and explained how the growing and harvesting process works, as well as the differences between the lemons. We were then led to a stunning sea view where we had a delicious bruschetta with lemon and orange jam paired with the best lemonade I’ve ever had and yummy limoncello! I would definitely recommend this tour, you learn a lot, get delicious snacks and drinks with a view, and the guide is amazing.

We did the guided lemon tour at Vivaio Ruoppo. We got a very nice tour of the lemon 🍋 vineyard and a very comprehensive and clear explanation on the cultivation of lemons. In the same vineyard, there are also wallnut trees and olive 🫒 trees. So we also got information about the cultivation and pressing process of olives for production of (extra virgin) olive oil. We enjoyed the tour very much! At the end there was a tasting of home-made marmelade (lemon and orange), as wel as home-made lemonade and off course … limoncello. All this with the marvellous view on the bay of Naples. Thanks a lot to the perfectly English-speaking hostess/guide. Thank you for this lovely experience. It certainly is a must-do, when you visit Sorrento 🥰
