Marrakesh to Casablanca, day trip, 7:20 am to 19 :30 pm.
Guide-Mohammed and our Driver.
Excellent tour, picked up for a change, from our hotel -
Valeria Dar Atlas, Resort, (on the outskirts of Marrakech). Did not have to go into, the center of Marrakech, with taxi, to meet them, saved 300 Dirham.
Okay, about 18, passengers on the minibus. Took us 3 and half hours, to get there.
Mohammed and the driver, spoke, various Languages, but fluent in English, also, so no communication problems.
Mohammed, very friendly, knowledgeable. approachable, professional at all times, with all the passengers.
Driver, was excellent, very friendly, looked after, all of us.
If u think, u want to do your shopping, at the Souks.
None available, only department stores.
We recommend, this tour, u will not find out, what u are missing, until u have tried it, with Mohammed and his partner (Driver). Many thanks, Mohammed.
Hope u all enjoy the cultural, religious, tours, like we have.
Visit to the Church, Mosque and the Beach in Casablanca.
Kamini and Julie, UK.
Enjoy. Th

A very nice visit filled with anecdotes throughout the neighborhoods with Jaouad at the wheel and Nordine providing explanations. And above all a magnificent visit to the Great Mosque with a guide full of humor and humanism.

This is a far better experience with a personal driver/guide than being on a coach with a crowd .
We were met by Noureddine our guide. Our first visit was Rick's cafe and then on to visit the stunning mosque.
Noureddine talked about history and much more. After the mosque we went all the way around Casablanca. We visited the area were the kind residents. Very high end residential areas. Futher on we visited churches and of course the souk. We saw where they make the bread and cakes. Noureddine took to a typical Moroccan cafe.
It was a great experience and a really great way to see Casablanca.

We visited Casablanca on a cruise ship in May 2024. With limited time to explore the city, we wanted a private tour that would give us a good taste of Casablanca. Our guide and driver were very friendly and knowledgeable. We made several stops around the city and were able to walk around and explore various historical sites and souks. If you are visiting Casablanca with limited time, this is a great option for you!

Our driver was late, but that was not the real issue - we were picked up by someone and then driven outside the port where we were told to get out of that car and get into another one. Felt very sketchy. The first car was nice - with the water bottles and a/c, the second car was just okay, no water bottles. The 'tour guide' said he "lost" his pass to get into the port and that he needed the guy that picked us up to go and get us. My husband asked our driver 2x what was really going on, and he stuck with his story. I just felt lied to - I think they overbooked and that some random, non tour guide gave us the tour. He really did not know much about the town or history, not very engaging. We were told at the end to get out and switch cars again. Very strange. The mosque was great to see, but that was weird too b/c some random guy joined our tour guide and the whole way walking up to the mosque our guide was interacting with this guy - we were on a private tour that did not feel private at that point. The tour guide through the mosque was quite rude as well, but I'm still glad that I saw it.

An excellent tour. Amine was knowledgeable about the history of the city & his love for his home city was evident. Amine was willing to stop for photos & allowed us plenty of time to look around. We took the lunch option & had a delicious tagine lunch. I would totally recommend this tour.

Our guide/driver, Amine, arrived on-time at our hotel and took us to first see and take pictures of the Sacred Heart Cathedral from the outside as it is being converted into a museum on the inside.

Then on to the Arab League Park, next door to the Cathedral. In the morning it's quiet, very few people around and we had ample time to take pictures of this beautiful palm tree-lined park.

Followed by a visit to Mohammed V Square a.k.a. the "pigeon square" with obviously hundreds of pigeons around. Amine explained the set-up of the square and allowed us time to explore on our own.

Of course, the legendary Rick's Cafe was next. It's closed on the morning, so only pictures on the outside.

Next up was the highlight: the Hassan II Mosque. Amine got us to skip the line, which made a huge difference as hundreds of MSC cruise ship passengers were already queueing. On the inside we joined a guided tour in English. The lady guide was very good in explaining the mosque, from the main floor to the basement where the ablution fountains were. After the tour we had 15 minutes to quickly capture pictures on the outside of this majestic and large mosque.

Afterwards Amine took us to El Hank to see the Mosque from across the bay. It is also where the El Hank Lighthouse is located.

Finally to Habbous, or the new Medina, where we saw the 2nd Catholic church, Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, and the Royal Palace. The final stop there was the small souks to buy last-minute souvenirs before Amine took us to the airport.

Really packed morning, lots of places to see, with knowledgable Amine guiding us.

Really recommended.
