Great experience!!! We rode th4 cable cars up and down. It's definitely worth it!! We had an entrance time at noon. It was perfect. Not too busy. The cafe had great priced food too.

Disappointed, many doors closed to visitors, the tower as well. It's hard to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the time.

The history associated with Castle Montjuic is amazing. The Audio Tour available directly from this historical site does a fantastic job of describing the Castle and it's position throughout history. Recommend checking the website for available start times for this self-guided audio-assisted tour. We did the tour in mid-September - outside the heavy tourist season - and we were able to book our tour time the same day we visited the Castle. Another MUST is taking the Funicular (Cable Car) ride up to the Castle. Purchase your funicular tickets in advance from the website and get a 10% discount. Similar discounts also available through the Barcelona Tour Card/City Pass.
