There was a lot in this day and the tour company did a poor job with execution. We kept getting g handed off to different people for each leg of the trip. The driver picked us from our hotel and took us to a meeting spot for Pompeii. Here we met Sasa our guide who was terrific. He was energetic and very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed this part. Back to the meeting spot to go to Vesuvius where things were chaotic and the woman in charge of logistics wasn't exactly helpful. At Vesuvius everyone was left to hike on their own. Back on the bus the next guide didn’t say a single word to us. Not where we were going, what to expect or anything. The lunch was excellent and we really enjoyed all the different activities but the execution could have been better.
