If you were to search for "Off the beaten path" in the dictionary, this excursion would be displayed next to it!
This journey into Puerto Rico's Indigenous roots is a one of a kind experience for not only those seeking to learn more about the origins of the Caribbean, nature, and sustainable living, but also anyone looking to experience Puerto Rico's nature without other tourists around, without lines, or the ruckus of travelers.
Not only will we be visiting the largest ceremonial grounds in the Caribbean, but also a very serene river to swim(we are almost always the only people there), and exclusive access to a completely “off the grid” permaculture farm where you'll be served a fresh farm-to-table meal to end the day.

This is the best tour to get a glimpse of the past to appreciate the Puerto Rico of today. Tristan, of Tranki Tours, is the best guide to show you the sacred sites of the Taino and explain the history and heritage that was lost and what remains innate in the people today.

Travelling throughout the region, I kept discovering a favorite spot in the lush landscape and the subtle sounds of life. Being immersed in the diverse ecosystem was a respite to the senses and was a great escape from the clamor of the city. Tristan's love and passion for the land and people is unmatched as he shares this part of the island with his guests. Take this tour or any tour with Tristan and you will be working with someone who is a professional, flexible and most importantly kind and respectful.

I left with a deep appreciation for the people, culture and land of Puerto Rico. Thank you Tristan for the great time, laughs and smiles!

Tristan was amazing, I learned so much on this excursion! The Caguana Ceremonial Indigenous Heritage Center was awesome to visit. It has a lot of Ancestral energy, especially among the plant life. It was very calming and cleansing to be there. Tristan was very knowledgeable about the history of the different plant life and the area as a whole. The views on the drive were also beautiful 😍!
I had an awesome time!

Our tour guide Tristian is knowledgeable in the history of the land. I Love hiking, so I enjoyed hiking along the river, bathing in the sun and going for a swim to cool me down. The best was the farm and enjoying organic meal grown from the beautiful mountain of Puerto Rico.

This is an awesome tour. Tristian is very knowledgeable about the area and is an enthusiastic tour guide. I will definitely be doing other tours with him. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone The first stop was the ceremonial grounds. It was very cool to see all the carvings in the rocks and to know that many many years ago the Taino Indians were there. Then we went to the waterfalls and swam in the nice refreshing water. Our last stop was the finca remedio farm. This place was awesome an off the grid farm with an awesome adobe style dome home.

I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide to share the Indigenous history and culture of Puerto Rico (said in my best Spanish accent) with me. Tristan is knowledgeable and passionate about the land--- to include sacred rivers, forests, and the abundance of natural resources that grows within and on the trees all around.

Be prepared to learn, hike, swim, and eat good food. You will use all 5 of your senses on this trip. I was a little sore after but I would do it again in a heart beat.

Salud y gracias Tristan!

Tristan was amazing! He has set up trips and experiences that you can not find anywhere else. They are unique and take you to places that you would definitely not see on another tour or even on your own. I also enjoyed the fact that there was no hurry to get to the next stop. He let you take your time to explore. Loved the trip and Tristan is amazing!!! Would highly recommend this tour!!!
