Hugh was absolutely amazing!! He was super friendly and kind, very informative about Kyoto, and was incredibly attentive to my partner and I! We walked away feeling very comfortable and excited to see the beautiful pictures, and we were beyond thrilled with the end products! Another photographer canceled on me suddenly, but Hugh could accommodate me on short notice for an early morning photoshoot. Very happy with the photos and overall experience.

I had a photoshoot booked with Hugh and he was very warm and supportive throughout the whole shoot. I had actually let him know in advance that I wanted to organise an engagement proposal and he immediately offered to help as much as he could to guarantee a magical experience for my partner and I. This definitely paid off as the photo’s and moment turned out exactly how I imagined and my partner felt the same. Throughout the shoot Hugh was very knowledgable of each location and provided extensive assistance on our posing. The turnover for photo editing was only 12 hours! He loves what he does for sure. Highly recommend to anyone looking to gain a memorable and personalised album of photos from Kyoto.

My husband and I had a great honeymoon photo shoot experience with Hugh! We enjoyed chatting with him and asking questions about Kyoto in between shots. He took us to many beautiful places for the shots. The photos came out very well!

Hugh took us to some places we never knew about that were great locations to check out and have photos taken at. He took time also to tell us some information about the area and gave us a chance to have some breaks along the way.
I really recommend this experience for anyone visiting Kyoto and wanting to see some beautiful, traditional spots with some amazing photos.

Hugh is a great photographer and nice guy. I only have limited time in Kyoto and He took me to Yasaka Shrine for the photo shooting and it was lots of fun at the same time. He picked the nice spots to stop and take photos and at same time gave me introduction on where we at and what we are seeing. It’s a great experience

Had a good experience overall and our engagement photos turned out great! It was late July and very hot unfortunately. Hugh was accommodating for the heat and flexible with the time to meet. We were able to get in a great shoot in some beautiful and cool locations without any crowds.

Horrible experience.. we were so excited as it was a graduation photo shoot for my daughter, photographer canceled at the last minute, it really put my daughter down as we had been waiting for this moment. Photographer said it was too hot, but at the place there were so many other photographers doing photos shoots. I had to take the pictures with my professional camera and has my local photographer assist via FaceTime. Horrible experience!!
