On the day:

■ Guided to the main shrine where we will take a series of candid shots and poses along the way with some history of the area
■ We'll then shoot at the secret bamboo grove
■ Finally, we will go through the famous red Torii gates and capture the best shots of you

Hugh was very helpful in taking photos for our pregnancy announcement. He captured exactly what we were looking for. The edits are great, and he gave us the RAW images for an extra fee. He knew the quietest, less busy spots to take photos. He also knew Japanese well enough to politely ask people to give us space for photos! Thanks again Hugh!

Really nice person. Has some secret spots for some photos without a lot of people. He also brought some umbrellas for us to use that were beautiful. Great experience with the photoshoot to keep some memories.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience working with Hugh. He was very understanding, accommodating and responsive. All my queries were being answered within few minutes. I got beautiful photos of my time at Fushimi Inari Shrine. Hugh could take a number of very nice photos of me in and around the shrine. He could also show me a nearby secret bamboo grove which i could get some great shots with bamboo that would otherwise be impossible at a place like Arashiyama. A highly recommended experience.
