One of my best experiences in Cairo! Sameh was so knowledgeable, accommodating, a d super friendly. I tried so many local dishes, desserts, and beverages. Come hungry, you will leave stuffed! Watching the sunset on the Nile while on a felucca and cruising the streets on a tuk tuk were the cherry on top of a great day! Thank you Sameh for a great experience!

This was truly amazing! Sameh took me to so many places and we tried so many different foods, desserts, drinks. It was incredible! We went on a great motorboat ride too. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!!

We went on a tour with Semsem. It was a fantastic way to get to see Cairo on our first evening. The food was delicious and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The felucca ride on the nile at dusk was a wonderful experience as well.
Go on an empty stomach as it's so much food! We even took some koshari leftovers back to our airbnb with us.

Shared some unforgettable food experiences with the wonderfully energetic, friendly and knowledgeable Ammar. I was introduced to food and drinks I’ve never tasted before and as a vegetarian, I didn’t go hungry. The tour definitely lives up to its title of hidden gems, such as the restaurant in Garden City, and I loved the energy of the owners and workers at the well known cafes. Loved the tamarind juice from Muhammad’s stall and the mango icecream from El Abd Patisserie. Sailboat on the Nile with skipper Ali was also a highlight. I loved everything about this tour and highly recommend it. Come with an empty stomach, ready to eat the best of Egyptian cuisine. Thanks Ammar for being a wonderful guide and host!

One of the best experiences I had in Cairo. I would definitely recommend this tour with Semsem.
The guide was very considerate and took me to the most happening food joints downtown. We tried a lot of things.
By the end of the trip, I couldn't afford to have anything else, as I was so full. And we topped it off with a boat ride over the Nile.
Undoubtedly, the most wholesome and endearing experience. Great work. Keep it up !!!

Hands-down my favorite experience in Cairo! Book this tour immediately if you love trying new foods and learning about a new culture as well as seeing a vibrant city on foot. This tour includes a little bit of everything and you will not leave hungry. The guides are amazing and friendly and just so upbeat. We had the best tour and I could not recommend this enough for anyone who is interested in food and just having a great time. Must do!

"Semsem's food tour was one of the best introductions to the Egyptian food. We had a great time and we were really able to experience the streets of Cairo. There was an abundance of food, including local favorites. One of the highlights of the tour was the beautiful boat ride in the Nile. Definitely recommend to everyone looking to have a taste of authentic Egyptian street food.
