Kakizaki-san’s tea ceremony is unlike anything I’ve experienced in the 5 trips I’ve taken to Japan. It’s special. You feel it from the moment you’re guided into the beautiful garden. And that feeling only grows in strength throughout the ceremony and with the wonderful way Kakizaki-san explains each step’s significance. Like all great experiences in life, you won’t want it to end. But when it does, you’ll have something to cherish and think back on—over and over again.
