We started the day at the meeting point and arrived at 9:15 like indicated. It was not hard to find the meeting spot and we checked in and were provided with a small itinerary. The bus was actually very comfortable and clean. They do not allow food or drinks on the bus other than water bottles so keep that in mind. We on our way to Lucerne the guide talked about key things throughout the city and was very well informed about facts pertaining to Switzerland. The ride there was very nice and we enjoyed sightseeing while on the bus ride. You make a brief stop for about 15 minutes to use the restroom then continue onto Lucerne. Once at Lucerne you are let off the bus for about 1 hours to briefly explore. Just enough time to grab some quick Starbucks and walk to the nearby market. At Lucerne more guests are picked up. They are packed into the bus and every seat is taken for the ride up to Engelberg. Once we arrived, the guests that were picked up at Lucerne, get dropped off at the chair lift to go to the top of the mountain and the rest of us drive about 3 minutes to the drop off for Engelberg. Once there we are given a strict time of 4:45 to be back at the pickup stop. Just a little over 3 hours to explore at our own pace. We referred back to the itinerary that had different activities for extra charge. We were interested in doing the Toboggan ride down the mountain. We were quickly disappointed in learning this was closed for maintenance. Then we tried to do the bike rental around the city. We were also quickly disappointed and learned this was only available on the weekend. It would’ve been nice to know ahead of time these activities were not available instead of putting them on the itinerary for things to do in Engelberg. We did walk around and then decided to purchase tickets for the cable car ride up the mountain for about $40 each. We ate at the top of the mountain and explored the beautiful scenery. We made the most of this but there really wasn’t much to do here. We received a call from the tour that our bus was going to be late and to be at the pickup spot at 5:15. Once we were done with the day we headed back to the pickup spot around 4:30. We were surprised when the bus arrived at 4:45 and was telling people to get on. I told him we were called and told to be here at 5:15 and he rudely responded and said I’m here now and I’m leaving at 4:50. He then left shortly after 4:55. We would’ve been left behind if we showed up at the time of 5:15 like we were told. We then waited over an hour to pickup the remaining guests at Titlus. For a company that is so strict on their guests being on time they themselves were not on time. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our time on the mountain as anyone would because of how beautiful it was. But next time I will be purchasing a train ticket directly there instead of going through a tour company.

Very very bad!! Do not book this tour! This tour is usually patched to another group because there are only a few participants, and the main group (of the other tour) includes a trip up Mt Titlis which lasted 3 hours. Since you are not in the main group, YOU SAT AT THE BUS STATION FOR 3 HOURS with nothing to do and nothing to see, because Engelberg is a resort town full of small hotels but no shops or restaurants. You don't even see kiosks offering activities. Repeat: there is nothing to do and nothing to see in Engelberg! Don't book this tour to waste 3 hours in frustration in the middle of your vacation.

It was lovely to have a bit of time in Lucerne. The most amazing sights were the Alps themselves. Everywhere we looked there were postcard views.

The scenery and drive to Engelberg was lovely. So was the brief stop in Lucerne. However, once you got to Engelberg, you had 3 hours in a village with not much to do. If you're not doing the Titlus snow experience, I don't think this tour is really worth it.

This trip is great for individuals who don’t mind walking and being active. We elected to not go up Mt Titlis and were happy we didn’t as weather was not favorable (having most attractions close). We had about 3-4hrs of free time once in Engelburg and throughly enjoyed walking around, grabbing lunch, and shopping. There is a hiking trail we ended up not doing due to weather, but others really enjoyed it. Recommend this tour for people who are moderately active.

This trip was a waste of time and money. Why would they schedule a trip to a town where there is nothing to do or see and wait there for 4 hours? Do not take this trip. Pay for the full excursion instead. Besides, this company would not allow you to drink anything inside the bus. Seriously? When is it freezing outside and not even let you bring coffee on the bus?

sitting on a bench in a roadside paddock watching the grass grow and the dairy cattle grazing. With the mountains around and the hang gliders soaring. Peaceful.

A rather long & somewhat boring day trip.
Not enough time in Lucerne, and too much in Engelberg ( understand why , because of squeezing two tours together, both Engelberg & Mt Titilus ) with preferential treatment to the latter. Tour guide was way too opinionated and gave a constant running commentary on her political ideologies. Bus driver could not communicate in English . All in all a lot of money for not a whole lot in return . It’s rather nervy of them to charge €2 for water , when it should be complimentary.
