Meet your tour guide,at 7 am a trained 4WD specialist, and climb aboard a custom-built, four-wheel drive vehicle. Your guide is also a certified member of the Mount Batur Guide Association,
You will first visit to explore Lava Ball Point. Hop out of the vehicle and feel the incredible Kintamani landscape surround you. You will find a large cave formed from a lava flow and you will wonder if you are on a different planet.
The second stop is the volcanic lava flow of 1964. How did it happen? Your tour guide has the answer. As the guide navigates the four-wheel drive vehicle through the lava fields to get there, you will witness the local farmers working in their small fields and vegetable gardens.
To complete your day, stop for lunch and a long soak in the healing waters of Batur Natural Hot Spring. Enjoy the photographic panorama of beautiful Lake Batur from a completely different angle.

A good driver. A beautiful road. The driver takes very beautiful photos. We rescheduled the tour three times because of the weather, and each time we were allowed to do it for free.

We were greeted by our super friendly guide, Subrata, who arrived very punctually to pick us from the hotel. Though the ride was long, it was enjoyable as Subrata is quite humorous and engaged us in conversation. Subrata speaks very good English and helped us take lovely photos.
We were dropped off for our Jeep tour by another guide, Kadek, who skillfully maneuvered the Jeep through narrow and rocky roads. She brought us to scenic views and also the black lava sand / rocks to take photos. She takes very nice photos for us too. She brought us to the Batur Natural hot spring and we enjoyed soaking in the hot spring.
After the hot spring, Subraya brought us to lunch, and thereafter brought us back to the hotel. It was a great experience riding the Jeep.

Great adventure with a beautiful backdrop of the volcanic mountains. Our driver Agus was very friendly and patient and managed to make changes to our plans upon request. Our jeep drivers and guides Deepa and Derek are very skilled and pro drivers on those rough terrains. A pleasant surprise were the hot springs. We did not expect such an elaborate setup. The kid's loved the hot water pools hence landed up spending 4 hours there instead of 2. Great team.

Subrata and Dedik were awesome. Super friendly guys. Dedik takes the best photos! Tour itself was beautiful. Great way to explore Mount Batur area.

A fantastic experience, we would highly recommend! Our driver Agung and our 4wd tour guide Leon were great and very professional. Lots of different activities in one tour, a great way to see some of beautiful Bali.

Excellent day trip, comfortable drive through to 4x4 safari, great drive up to the viewing platform on the volcano side. It was good for us doing the tour during the day rather than sunrise. Excellent hot springs and lunch. Re transport, was taken there and back by Ridho, very cheery, chatty and informative, esp for 2 people new to Bali. Would definitely recommend. 👍

Adi and Leo did an amazing job. They made sure we were comfortable and went above and beyond to get us great photos. They were even prepared with ponchos when the unexpected rain came.
The crater, hot springs, and coffee plantation are ALL worth the visit, and the guys made sure we could go to everything even though we didn’t want to go for the sunrise ride and went at 8am instead.
Highly recommend!!!

Every part of this trip was excellent. From the lovely driver, Subrata, who collected us, to the lunch that the rain couldn’t spoil. I highly recommend this trip, I’d go again! The views were breathtaking.
