Joined the morning tour on 6/21/2024. Arashiyama was a nice place to walk around, a lot of shopping and eating opportunities. The Monkey Park took some efforts, but not strenuous, to get to. It was worth the sweat especially it gave you a good view of Kyoto from top of the hill even if you don't care for monkeys. Aron was a good guide. He was very accommodating and caring. He took good care of all of us. He also told us a lot of interesting info about Japan from an expat's perspective.

Our tour guide Aron was the best. He communicated with us before, during and after to make sure we were prepared coming and going. Although it rained during the tour we still had a great time and was able to see and do everything as planned . Aron was very informative with each area of tour and allowed us to take our time getting pictures and stops for souvenirs. He took pictures of us in the best spots for lasting memories. This tour was a wonderful experience to add to our Japan vacation. Highly recommend.

The temple grounds, the bamboo forest and the monkey park were all amazing! The hike was more strenuous than expected but we are all able bodied and the monkeys at the top were totally worth it! Just dress for the weather and bring lots of water! Great day exploring in Kyoto!

Not only was Aaron great but the entire tour had great energy- people were friendly, fun and the day was upbeat. I learned and seen parts of history in Kyoto I would have completely missed if it weren’t for this tour. I highly recommend this tour and well worth the time and money spent

I highly recommend Arashiyama Walking Tour with Aron! He was so kind, considerate, knowledgeable and accommodating. He met us at the train station and from there showed us all of the highlights of Arashiyama and also explained the history and significance of each location. He took the best family pictures of us and then sent it via WhatsApp. He was very organized and reached of to us a day before via WhatsApp to make sure we have a way to communicate with him. One huge plus is that he’s fluent in English and we could perfectly understand what he was saying and communicate with him, I highly recommend this tour! Thank you Aron for a great day!!

This is the tour if you want to see everything about Arashiyama.
Our guide Aaron lead us through this beautiful part of the city with insightful information in such a friendly manner. We saw the beautiful gardens, the temples, fed the monkeys and made new friends. We enjoyed every minute of it.
Special thanks to Aaron.

This is an incredible tour led by a friendly and knowledgeable guide who goes above and beyond to ensure everyone on his tour is enjoying the experience. The two main attractions are the bamboo forest which is absolutely amazing and Aron will show you the best locations for photos, and the monkey park where a troupe of wild monkeys live and freely roam. Yet there’s so much more you’ll see…like the kimono garden and Tenryu-ji temple with a picturesque pond. Because you’ll be walking a lot, you’ll really enjoy the stop for lunch, the refreshing pause you’ll need before climbing “monkey mountain”. Aron has made friends with all the vendors along the route and handles purchasing and distributing the tickets, which allows you to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery and soak up the culture and history of the region. In summary, a wonderful time that will give you lasting memories!
