Great time, Annette was great to set everyone up in kayaks and get out on the water. She knew things around, but we were mostly able to just kayak and chat. Had the perfect weather for it too, all around great day!

Despite the wind and strong waves, we felt completely safe and very well looked after as beginners. We'll be back next year! Thank you very much for everything.

We did this with our 11 year old and had a blast. Sven, our guide, was very nice and helpful. We lucked out with beautiful weather and calm water. For anyone who is not experienced with kayaking, it takes a fair amount of upper body strength so kids under 14 should be in double kayak with an adult. There were two older teens in our group that had single kayaks and did great. My son said this was his favorite experience in Scandinavia. Thanks Sven!

We had a wonderful kayaking trip. Sven showed us how to paddle right, and also told us about interesting points which we saw on the way. Everyone was super nice and the tour was picked perfectly

I was really looking forward to the kayaking tour that my friend and I booked. Before actually getting in the kayak though, the tour guide was going over instructions and she asked for those of us using a double kayak who was sitting in the back, and then, in front of the entire group, when she asked which one of us was sitting in the back — when my friend said that I was, the tour guide said “ya heavier people go in the back”. I was genuinely mortified and it left a really sour taste for the rest of the day. As a female with low self-esteem as it is, I didn’t appreciate someone commenting on my body. Although I loved the kayaking aspect, that actually was very upsetting and it ruined my day.

On a separate note, she gave recommendations to a museum, so when my friend and I trekked all the way there before our flight. We were disappointed to find out that what we wanted to see was not there.

Since I had already done a kayak tour in Brittany, I wanted to do the same in Oslo and I am very happy with my decision. The tour was really great, from the great support from Sven to the great weather and the beautiful Oslofjord. Sven managed to accommodate each of us at our very different levels. We had a lot of fun and thanks to Sven's great tips, I didn't have any sore shoulders after the tour. The tour is definitely suitable for beginners and I can only recommend it to everyone. Thank you Sven for this great experience!!!

Une sortie en Kayak pour relaxer et profiter au maximum de ses vacances à Oslo. Du pur bonheur.

We had such a lovely day on the Fjord. The wheather was perfect and the view of Oslo was fantastic.
The kayaks and equipment where of excellent quality and well maintained.
Our guide was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable of the Fjord, it’s beauty and history. Annett is a true kayak expert to whom security cannot be-compromised. and customer’s relation very important.

I highly recommend Oslo Kayak Tour for its professionalism and the quality of their service.

We had booked for the 2h tour in the Morning but were asked to join the 3h tour in the afternoon in stead for no extra cost which was nice. Everyone was very friendly when we asked questions. But the trip turned out traumatic. My husband was not able to keep the kajak in balance and fell in the fjord 3 times After which he was totally traumatised about almost drowning and not receiving help. The instructor present gave his own Kajak twice and although my husband wanted to stop convinced him to try again but my husband experienced the same trauma again and again which he actually had nightmares about days After. He honestly thought he was drowning and my daughters had to provide the solution one keeping his Kajak in balance and the other dragging her sister and father along for 45 minutes without help from the instructor. I understand that there were 10 People to assist and not only my husband but letting a 17 year Old girl drag along a 45 year Old man + her 19 year Old sister without any help is not acceptable. If you advertise that no experience is needed, you should be prepare for situations Where a normally built man cannot keep his Kajak straight and what you should do in these circumstances. This way my daughters did not enjoy the remainder of their trip and my 17 year Old had muscle pains for days dragging 170kgs (without counting the weight of the kajaks) for 45 minutes while there was a grown man instructing them Who could have dragged them along.
Change your Policy to only for those experienced with kajak because when you do not know how to kajak there is no help provided and nobody helps you when you almost drown, on the contrary they ask you to almost drown several times.
