I can't say enough about Gio and Monica - they are both terrific! Gio made the best recommendation for the days / timing of our tours (Best of London and Stonehenge and Windsor Castle tours) based on our travels. Monica was amazing - very knowledgeable and fun. Had 2 great days with her and she kept 2 jet-lagged travelers engaged and learning so much about London!
I highly recommend Private London Tours and Monica for anyone who wants to tackle London with the guidance of someone enjoyable and knowledgeable!

I would highly recommend going with Private London Tours if you are visiting London. Our guide, Mark, was awesome! We toured for a couple days in a row and he built a history on each place we visited to where you could understand how they related to each other. Lots of laughter, knowledge, and memories made! It was so nice to have a vehicle to take you from place to place, tickets pre-purchased for you to avoid some of the lines, and someone to answer any questions you had along the way.

Quick trip to London and we needed someone to not just guide us around London but create an experience for a family of four. Micheal exceeded every expectation. There's always trepidation with online booking. Are you going to get beheaded at the Tower of London or buried at Westminster Abbey? Hopefully you don't fall into concrete like Winston Churchill. Not worry, nothing to fear with Michael here.
Such a well planned private experience that we were looking for. The four of us all had a little bit different tastes. Some needed context stories. Other's history. Other's just sites to see. Michael provided for all. Well worth every quid (pound.) Would highly recommend. In fact, I will for friends coming in June.
Pick up by car was exactly on time as promised. Easy to find. Came direct to hotel. Driver (we had a driver and guide) was professional and car was extremely clean and comfortable (a large van). Small touches like water provided. It just made the experience.
All tickets provided as promised to the three major sites: Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, and Churchill War Room. Avoid most major lines.
Guide went along the whole way and provided context and history lessons (except in just a few areas where guides aren't allowed to go).
Pick up and drop-off at locations was excellent. We walked to a few locations just to experience the town (this was a private tour after all) and Micheal explained the significance to the town the whole way. Really gained insight into both historic and modern London.
Took some time off for lunch as planned. Place recommended by guide. Don't worry, this wasn't one of those situations where you worried about kick backs for the guide. Found a traditional London pub with excellent atmosphere. Asked him to join us (as he didn't want to intrude). Took that time not only to get food suggestions, but also to learn more about things we saw in the first half of the day. Such a nice experience.
Guide is incredibly knowledgeable yet entertaining. Breath of knowledge is truly remarkable. This is the way to take on historic sites. Google Machine right at your finger tips and he's human.
FInal drop-off at front door of hotel. Truly amazing day. Really want to thank both of them.

Easy to deal with and excellent service! Gio, the owner, was easy to work with and set the tours with all of the highlights we wished to see. Our guide Joanna was well versed in history and legends as well as a logistical wiz. We spent 2 full days with her and she was extremely knowledgeable of both history and modern day London . First, we did a day trip to Stonehenge and the Cotswolds and the next day a car tour of London including the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. A tour with a Blue Badge guide is the best way to gain access, and see all the highlights a tour has to offer . We truly enjoyed our tours and Joanna. Highly recommended!

Fantastic operation! Booking, payment was a breeze. Gio, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and our guide Aaron was incredible! We spent 2 entire days with him. First, we did a day trip to Stonehenge and then a couple of days later we did the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. Aaron was knowledgeable and attentive and took great care of us. We really enjoyed our tours and I can’t say enough good things about this company. Thank you Gio and Aaron for an unforgettable time!!!

What a wonderful introduction to the city of London. Everything about my experience booking with Gio was effortless. He answered all of my questions promptly and arranged a private, full-day tour that included Changing of the Guard, The Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. Our guide, Charlotte T, was not only delightful, but impressively knowledgeable about all things London. She ensured the day went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend to first time and return visitors alike!!

My husband and I recently did an eight hour tour of London. This was our first time to London. Gio was great to deal with. He customized the tour to what we wanted to see. We toured the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. We also stopped to see Buckingham Palace. We took a City drive and saw numerous sights. We went to Burroughs Market for fish and chips.
Gavin was our guide and Shorof was our driver. They were both awesome! Gavin was the best guide. We definitely will be back and will request Gavin and Shorof. Great company to work with.
