We absolutely loved our boat day with Giovanni! My boyfriend and I booked this for my birthday in mid-June, leaving from Positano, and it was amazing way to see the Amalfi Coast. Giovanni clearly takes great pride in his boat, and it was impeccably clean and comfortable. He kept the prosecco flowing and stopped at many beautiful spots for swimming. Having grown up in the area, he shared facts about the sites that only locals would know. He also took us to a delicious restaurant for lunch that can only be accessed by boat. We booked this with Giovanni over other boat companies because he is from the area and owns his boat himself - and you can tell the difference in the personal care he takes to make sure we had the best day ever. Got some great pics of us too. Do yourself a favor and book a day on Gio’s boat now!

My parents and I had a fantastic time with Giovanni on his boat! He was very kind, informative, and made sure we had fun. And my dad would like me to add that he was very professional. He had waters, Prosecco and fruit, and limoncello for us on board. Midday we stopped at a restaurant only reachable by boat for lunch and had a fantastic meal. We also had plenty of swimming stops on the way out (either 3 or 4), and he gave us the option of stopping to swim on the way back as well. Truly the perfect day along the amalfi coast, would highly recommend!

My husband and I had a purely magical day on the Amalfi Coast, all coordinated by the lovely and professional Giovanni. It is worth the splurge for 2 people or up to about 7! This was a memorable and unique highlight of our time in Italy. He took care of the logistics and was quick to communicate, answering any questions we had and proactively confirming in the days leading up to the activity.
The boat itself is in my opinion the perfect size for the area, and is exactly as pictured in the cover photo. It is small enough to fit in the grotto near Maiori, but big enough for us to feel very comfortable if there were waves from other passing boats.
As for his captain skills, Giovanni grew up and still lives in the area, so his knowledge of how to safely navigate the waters put us completely at ease.
Speaking to the atmosphere, it is pure relaxation but as fun and energetic as you want. For parts of the trip we opted to connect our phone to his Bose speakers to blast our own music. For parts, we half slept and just leaned back to look at the coast. Giovanni was friendly, warm, and pointed out the sites when we felt like looking around.
Regarding food and drinks, he had fresh fruit, a bottle of prosecco, soda, and water available. Later in the afternoon we had the chance to try his homemade limoncello. For lunch you can go to a cool boat-in only restaurant. It's a bustling little spot that you are "taxied" to via dinghy. The food is good and the view over the coast is really cool. It's a chill place, so just flag waiters if you need anything additional.
Lunch went a little long, but Giovanni did not rush us back. We still got to see everything we set out to see, with no rushing us. We deeply enjoyed our day! Consider taking the plunge. Giovanni will take care of everything else. You are in good hands!

I am so glad you were so awesome about communicating with me before I booked our boat tour with you. It helped me in making decisions for us from afar. Going on private boat tour with my friends on Giovanni’s boat was definitely the highlight of my trip! It was so nice seeing the coast from the sea. Since we booked a private tour, Giovanni made it so we were able to take more time to swim, and even took some time to visit a seaside restaurant only accessible by boat. Giovanni was an amazing captain, making sure we had a great time! Can’t recommend this enough, can’t wait to be back with my family next time.

We had such an amazing experience with this private boat tour excursion at Amalfi coast , we booked it online the night before , we received confirmation immediately and had a message from the captain to confirm meeting point at Maiori , boat was very clean , comfortable and spacious enough for our 8 people group , Giovani is a very nice guy ,gentleman, and professional at what he does , has adequate knowledge of the coast , he was very considerate , paid attentions to kids , has all of the safety equipments , dry towels , drinks and snacks , he stopped for a swim , has goggles and life jackets for everyone , he offered to stop again for swimming , however we were tired , he took his time and was not rushing us at all , the scenic ride was spectacular , satisfying and exciting
I highly recommend taking this tour with friends and family

Giovanni was a perfect host, very nice and polite. He showed us all of the beautiful coves and explained the history of the coastal cities so well. The boat is very nice and plenty of space. More than was needed.
I can’t recommend enough! We will definitely book his boat next time.

Giovanni was a great skipper who was very easy going, informative, welcoming, and overall had great energy! Highly recommend him to any future renters. The place he took us for lunch was so good as well! It was such a fun and priceless experience.

Giovanni was amazing. Correspondents prior to the trip was very easy and straight forward. The boat(yacht) is very nice, clean and plenty of space for 7 of us, also extremely convenient it has an onboard washroom. This is key for a long day on the water. I searched for a while to find the best value private boat tour and this is 100% it. Similar boats through different vendors are well over $3000 CAD.
It was one of the highlights of our trip. If you are going to the Amalfi Coast this is a must do. Memories that will last a life time. Just book it!

Giovanni was great from the start, communication was great when we were booking, he was prompt at responding and answered all my questions.
The day was perfect, we were the 1st of the season in 2024 and the weather was great. Giovanni was super helpful with making sure we were comfortable as my wife had a broken arm from the week before. His English was perfect and had so much knowledge to share of the coast. It is really the best way to see the whole coast. He took us to restaurant for lunch that you could only arrive by boat which was special and delicious. We had 2 bottles of Prosecco and juicy fruit through our ride on the boat. He also had a Bluetooth speaker so we connected our tunes to the boat. I took my drone and got lots of great footage of our trip from above and there is lots of space on board to take off and land a small drone :-) There is a cover on the outside at the back (hopefully he can update some photos but it was perfect) so the back of the boat can be in the shade if you want. And sit on the front for full sun! Overall it couldn't have been a better boat day. Can't recommend Giovanni enough and this is a great option for a couple or a small group of friends. 100% would book this again.
