Pleasure your palate with a delicious 4-course meal (not available in the Drink&Show option) while entertained by an outstanding pre-show and sip fine wines as countless extravagant acts unravel before your eyes: beautiful dancing, astounding acrobatics, hilarious comedy routines, quick-change act, flying aerialists, live singers… enhanced with amazing multicolour laser light performances and high-tech 24 sqm LED screen.

Decent show, felt very touristy. The meal was served first, with very short acts every 30 minutes or so. All the music was American/English-speaking music so that made it feel less authentic.
The food itself was good, several courses, including bread, soup, entree, dessert. We added a couple drinks that were unique as they came out with real sparklers lit up.
After food was finished, the show began. The performances were not bad, but somehow I left wanting more.
I wouldn’t go again unless there were changes, a more authentically-Greek feel would have made a big difference.

Last Saturday we had a wonderful time at the Alar Dinner-Show "Spectacular" . Really good service, we were very well welcomed by Virginia and Franco and their nice Artist Beings with a Welcome Drink. There was a very good food and the show was really spectacular . The artists are so nice and talented. With breathtaking and emotional Acrobatic, beautiful and very talented dancers and two wonderful singers it was a great show. I can't remember having so much fun in my life. My husband loved it too. We recommend it to everyone. It has also a good cost benefit.

Wow is the best word to use for these shows. My husband and I went to the Spectacular show first and also booked the meal package and it was fabulous. The cast are very talented and very versatile to say the least, the food was so nice and my husband said the red wine was the nicest he had had in Crete. The whole evening was a delight and although the theatre was not full it didn’t affect the atmosphere(early season) We both loved it that before we left we booked the Troy show for later in the week. We didn’t book the meal for that just a drink and show, again a fabulous show and friendly atmosphere. All the cast, staff & owners are brilliant. If your into shows you must go or even if you want to do something different you will not be disappointed. If we go to that area of Crete again we most certainly would book again. Gail&Dave

We went BACK to Alar for the second night to see the spectacular show, and honestly I didn’t think it could get any better but it did! I am so so grateful I was able to see such talent, drink prices were good and everybody was so friendly! All the cast and the creator of the show, even the service staff were all so lovely and accommodating. If we come back to Crete, you can bet Alar will be seeing us again!

We had a very good night the show was very good and worth watching. The artists and singing are very talented. The owner Virginia and husband are lovely and made guests very welcome. Definitely recommend ♥️

The show was very good and we appreciate a lot this addition to the Hersonissos entertainment life . Absolute favorites were air acrobats, dance with laser and dance in bath (good sense of humor). Overall we enjoyed the show and appreciate the performance of team.
As regards dinner: We did not like the long interruptions between courses and only two little performances between the courses. There were few dining groups so you can feel the emptiness of hall. This feeling was gone when the rest of public arrives and the show started. We had one moment which I would like to mention - when dished were collected after meal the waitress stacked them on our table and disregarded the obvious drops of food on the table from the stacked plates.
The reception before the show was good idea - we liked the interaction and the performance before the show (dance in the ring).
Overall I appreciate the idea, the making of the show and all performers.

Myself and my partner booked for the Spectacular dinner and show last Monday and literally feel obliged to leave a review. What an amazing experience!
We had originally booked for the drinks and show but after a chat we decided to book the dinner and I'm glad we did.
Arrived at Alar a little early but was greeted by the Arts Director and Show Creator Virgina who spent the time to chat with us and through this I knew with the passion in her voice we we're in for a treat!! I wasn't wrong.
Whilst waiting outside on the beautiful terrace with our welcome drink the show started infront of our very eyes. We hadn't even stepped a foot in the theatre. Brilliant!
We went in and enjoyed a delicious FIVE COURSE MEAL and during the final three courses the theatre came to life with the most amazing artists you could imagine.
Acrobatics, showgirls, quick changes and even a scene with a bath tub which somehow I ended up on there. It really was a blessing and you can see how much work has went into putting this all together. My favourite performer though was the the lead vocalist, I missed her name but she absolutely outstanding but every part of the show was truly Spectacular and I couldn't recommend this enough to anyone who's travelling to Crete. The floor staff were very efficient without being intrusive and made sure the cocktails and drinks were flowing!
I think when word gets out of this place then it'll become the best night put in Crete! We spent over 11 days in Crete and Spectacular was honestly the highlight of the trip! Cocktails were delicious, food was amazing! & surprisingly all very reasonably priced.
I can't wait to go back to Crete to see it again!!!
