A fan is an item that creates a breeze to cool oneself. Multiple frameworks are fixed at a single point, and Japanese paper or cloth is attached to the surface that directs the wind.

In this experience, you can create your customized fan by freely choosing different shapes and colors of stamps and applying your own creative design.

By incorporating modern stamp art into a traditional folding fan, a new work of art is created that blends tradition and modernity. Your one and only personalized fan that you have made yourself will become an item to cherish and remember.

We will deliver valuable time that can only be experienced in Japan to tourists visiting Japan.

We did both the fans and the papier mache with our 2 kids. It was great! It’s only a few minutes from the big Kaminarimon gate, but so much calmer. Pat was so sweet and patient with our 9 and 4 year olds. I definitely recommend this activity to get a break from the craziness that is the rest of Asakusa.

The smoothies were yummy too.

We had so much fun making fans today! The woman who helped us was very kind and she spoke five languages. She took lots of photos and made us yummy drinks. We definitely recommend!!

I felt very welcomed when I walked into PINK Asakusa. Karin was very friendly and told me the details about the activity. She spoke to me while I was painting and I felt very comfortable there. It's in a great location and easy to find. I had a lot of fun creating my own fan to take home! I would definitely visit again if I had the chance. Next time, I would like to try creating a goshuincho or try calligraphy!
I highly recommend PINK Asakusa for anyone who is creative and wants to take home a nice souvenir back from Japan.
