Great 2 hour ride, horses are well kept, guides are aware and very kind. they do not haggle you for photos, the young man who was in charge of taking pictures simply offered his photo op package before getting onto the horses. The ride is beautiful, and hotel pickup was made easy by the staff as they arranged everything for me. My driver Eric was very nice and picked us up when the excursion was done too. This was included in the booking price.

We were told to be at the front gate of the hotel for pick up & if we weren’t we would miss our “Uber” ride scheduled by this company to get to the excursion. We were at the front as we were told to do but proceeded to wait an additional 30 min for 2 additional people from our same resort that refused to meet at the entrance gate as we did. What a joke! Upon arrival, the horses are very malnourished, dirty, and the guide does not speak any English.

This experience was not the greatest. Pickup was a disaster, we got to the meeting spot 30 minutes early at they gave us two different meeting times 4 and 4:30. Around 4:35 I get a message saying the driver is waiting for us even though we were standing front and center in the lobby with no cars. After arguing on the phone with the tour guide for almost 30 minutes we finally got picked up and was driven to a shady spot. Nothing was really explained to us, we were just kinda told to get on the horses and go. We took a long forestry route to the beach finally. The horses were great and the beach was beautiful but I was really disappointed with the company and the lack of communication. I wouldn’t go again or I’d book through another company.

We had a great time, we moved together as a group and took some nice pictures! I would definitely recommend, especially if you have never been horseback riding.

My husbands birthday celebration. This was by far his favorite excursion and everyone here was so nice the photos they took were top quality and we purchased all 40 of them for $40. Many vendors mark up the price but you can negotiate and I think it's a great memory to have. The horses were well behaved and easy journey to the beach. 10/10

I never write reviews but i look to look at reviews for when im booking. My husband has always wanted to ride horses and i booked this one thinking it would be nice. First the guy from the tour made me super uncomfortable like bad i wanted to leave so bad but i didn’t want to ruin the trip for my husband. They made us wait 25 minutes because they were eating which fine i have no problem with but that’s not professional. When you finally make it to the beach it has a whole bunch of trash and you are only literally there just to take pictures from the photographer they provide and then that’s it. They take you to another area to swim the tour people got in and then we went back and the tour was over. Lasted only one hour. I personally wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends.

Was the best time, the manager and staff are top notch! Some of reviews on horses are people that do not know anything about horses. Horses very well taken care of, hoofs in great condition! I highly recommend!

Thank you for an amazing experience!I Family of 6, first time horse riders, my kids absolutely loved it!! Gabriel and staff truly took care of us with every excursion we did while visiting the D.R.!! I would highly recommend booking through Gabriel. He explained every excursion very thorough, so we knew exactly what to expect. Love the family Rancho, Horses are very well trained.
