WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1.
Guests will enjoy seeing the famous Louvre palace. For centuries home to the kings and queens of France, the palace is now the most-visited art museum in the world. Our route will take us to view the famous glass pyramid and portions of the stunning architectural design, built over generations. An excellent stop for photos!
2.
Place de la Concorde, revolution square. Opposite the Louvre we will visit the notorious site of the guillotine during the days of the revolution. Guests will see the place where many, including the king and queen, met their end.
3.
Heavily damaged by a fire in 2019, Notre Dame Cathedral is now undergoing intensive reconstruction work. Still, it is possible to pass by to see the intricate stonework on the main facade and appreciate the beauty of the architecture.
4.
Central islands where the city began. Our tour route will take us through different parts of the islands in the center of Paris where the first inhabitants settled more than 2,000 years ago.
5.
In previous times Le Marais was a swampy area outside of Paris. Now it's a trendy and vibrant neighborhood. This will be our pit stop, with an opportunity to use the restroom and grab an optional coffee/snack from a local cafe.
6.
This large glass-domed hall designed and built for the 1900 Exposition Universelle is one of the more striking features of the Paris skyline. It features a rotating selection of events and exhibitions and will be one of the features seen from our stop on the Pont Alexandre III.
7.
Guests will enjoy scenic views of the famous river Seine. Our tour route will take us down onto the pathway adjacent to the river at several different points. Guests will see first hand the transformation underway as Paris converts more areas fo the city into green and pedestrian zones. These sections should be very fun for riding the electric scooters, with plenty of beautiful views of the city's architecture and bridges.
8.
We begin and end our journey on the Left Bank (Rive Gauche) of Paris! The historic neighborhood holds some of the city's best views and historic sites and is the perfect jumping off point for our electric scooter tour.
9.
Our route will begin with a trip through the winding old streets of Paris' Latin Quarter. The tour starts on a small and quiet street perfect for learning how to ride the scooter. Then, follow your guide as they lead you through a quiet section of the neighborhood to get down to the bike pathway and the first stop on the tour.
10.
Our tour will stop for pictures and incredible views from Paris' most famous and iconic bridge. Here we will see views of the Eiffel tower, the gold dome of Napoleon's tomb, as well as the Grand Palais and Petit Palais.

I have to admit I was skeptical about an EScooter tour, as I had never been on one let alone one in a city with cobble stone roadways far from home. This all changed when we met Tess! She put my mind at ease and briefed us on the tour and safety, took us to practice and off we went. What a wonderful tour!! We saw and learned so much! Tess was very knowledgeable and personable. Halfway through the tour this escooter novice was zipping through the courtyard of the Louvre like a pro!!! I can't recommend this tour enough!!!

One of the highlights of our visit to Paris. We met Tess at their office which is located on a quiet side street. The kids were really excited to e-scooter as they had done it elsewhere. Tess explained the rules of the road, how things were going to go, set the e-scooters on “kiddie” mode and road-tested us on the quiet side street first (there was no traffic… not even pedestrian). Helmets were provided.

Once Tess was satisfied, we set off. 98% of our journey was on bike paths or segregated road away from traffic. There was a very short stretch that was not and Tess had us wait at the curb until the prior traffic light stopped a traffic so we could proceed without traffic. It was very safe.

Tess took us to parts of Paris that we hadn’t seen or known about… all the while telling us about where we were and the history. We stopped half way at a cafe that was quite good. I couldn’t have planned a better experience if I tried.

Once we had earned enough trust with Tess with respect to our ability, kiddie mode was turned off. It was a blast seeing/getting around Paris in this way.

The kids were really engaged and Tess was definitely in control and on top of safety at all times. Highly recommend them and we will use them again the next time we go to Paris.

We loved the Bad Ass escooter tour with Mark as our guide. We are a family of 4, with 2 teenage girls and it was the perfect introduction to the sites of Paris. We covered a lot of ground and Mark shared lots of interesting facts and anecdotes. It was a small group, just us and another family. I would highly recommend as a great way to see Paris on your first day.

This is the best way to see the city while also having a blast! The guide was super knowledgeable and also a ton of fun! She made sure we were safe and got us right up into the action of the city. The scooters were very safe and new. This was by far the best city tour we’re ever done!

What a unique experience! My husband and I were looking for a different way to explore Paris and decided to try the e-scooter tour with our teenage kids.
We met with our tour guide Tess - who was a rockstar! She gave us a thorough tutorial on how to operate the scooters. I was by far the most timid of our group. But by the end, I felt like a pro!
Tess was super knowledgeable about all areas of Paris, the history and kept our kids engaged with trivia questions!
The benefits of this tour for us were:
- Doing it Day 2 of our trip provided us with familiarity of the City and areas we would want to see again during our visit
- Less walking - my daughter and I have previous knee injuries, so the e-scooter was better than walking or riding a bike
- A knowledgeable guide to provide some historical insight
- The e-scooters were pretty nimble and small to easily navigate through crowds and traffic
This was one of the highlights of our time in Paris! Special thanks to the owner Mark for a wonderful and unique Badass experience!

Ok…we just had THE BEST TOUR EVER! Badass Tours took our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) on an e-scooter tour of the city and it was FANTASTIC. Honestly, my teens were fairly bored with the history, art, culture and this was JUST the thing to spark their interest. Mark was an amazing guide…funny, informative…he made history engaging for my teens. Google Badass Tours in Paris and book directly. Worth every penny!!

Can't recommend this tour highly enough - Our guide was professional, knowledgeable, generous, patient, safe, and above all, hilarious. Is everyone at Badass a tortured comedic genius? Are they all brilliant, cagey Irishmen? I don't know but what we experienced was not only an extensive history lesson but also a laugh-a-minute joy ride through the best parts of Paris on smooth, incredibly easy to manage fun sticks, all with different names - I believe mine was called Scootie and the Blowfish and my pal's, a biblical scholar visiting from California, Scooteronomy, though it may have been Château Scoot-du-Pape, I can't remember, he's also a French wine enthusiast. Highlights of the tour: Fred the Sunning Seine Tortoise, the Atelier where Picasso painted Guernica, The Gates of Paradise at Le Petit Palais where Satan does that thing with his tongue. This is all without mentioning the outlandishly charming side street where Badass Tours is located, just under Anne's apartment, a French woman in her nineties who stuck her head out, smiled, and waved us on our way. Things to do in Paris STARTS HERE. Truly, an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Badass!

The E scooter tour was the highlight of our trip to Paris. Our guide, Tess, was lovely. Really informative and we learnt loads that we otherwise would have missed. You get to cover a lot of Paris in a short space of time and see many of the sights. Would highly recommend.
