I was sick the day we were supposed to go but they were so nice and let us move it to the next day! The guide spoke excellent English and was very thoughtful and attentive. This experience exceeded my expectations and I can not recommend this enough. She took a ton of pictures which will make for some great memories!

We had an amazing time at this private tea ceremony. We were warmly greeted into the Kyoto Samurai house which carries a rich history. After being educated on the processes of the ceremony, we entered the tea room where we participated in the tea ceremony with a kind and knowledgeable tea master. We were lucky enough to be the only people at this session. After this, we took some photos in some traditional clothing (wedding Kimono and samurai jacket). We finished with a tea making experience. Overall, we had an amazing time. The host was very kind and welcoming, which just added to the overall enjoyment. We would recommend this experience to anyone, especially for those looking for an indoor activity to avoid the rainy summer days.

Great host and nice private experience. We had ~60 minutes at the location. We had an opportunity to learn about the house, culture, experience tea ceremony, sake tasting and also photos with Kimonos. So memorable.

Really nice ceremony wearing kimonos. It was a beautiful experience and people were really kind.
We were dressed up by two really nice ladies and taken pictures, then had the tea ceremony explained to perfection and also got to see a traditional Japanese house

My first Tea ritual, an experience from start to finish. They treated us with kindness, kindness and a lot of peace. They are a splendid couple with a lot of wisdom. They taught us all the meanings of each movement they made during the ritual, they gave me many options to create my kimono, they took wonderful, very professional photos of us and they were always friendly and willing to answer any questions. We made our own Matcha tea š and they gave me my first unique kimono š. The wife spoke Italian and it is my third language so we were able to communicate in a unique way full of joy and Italian expressions!!! It was an experience that I recommend everyone have. The house is a Samurai house! You won't regret it!

Host couple and the Tea master were brilliant!!!
Such amazing energy. They truly HOSTED us in the their family. Traditional home, great family, tea ceremony, traditional dance performed by host wife, dressed up for photos and learned a bunch.
If you are price comparing, Iād say this was truly worth every penny.
