Gülşen is absolutely fantastic - she is so knowledgeable, patient and kind!!!
We stayed by Haiga Sofia and she met us at the hotel. As this was our first day in the city, we relied on her completely to show us around and it was the best decision - the day was all about learning the history and we were in lines no more than a total of 5 minutes, as licensed guides get a separate line (something I didn’t know in advance but was very happy about when I saw the long lines). The tour was at our pace - we had an elderly person - but we got to see everything and learned so much! The best money I spent in the city - we got so much out of the day and spent it with the most wonderful person! Gülşen truly made us feel welcome in Istanbul and felt like family by the end of the day. Thank you!!!

On a day when traffic and transportation was completely blocked, Gülşen managed to meet us at our hotel and tailor our day to our interests and pace. She has a strong knowledge of major landmarks and routes demonstrated during our walking tour and a kind, friendly demeanor. She followed up with suggestions for other activities, restaurants and places to see.

Gülşen is a fabulous and personable guide. She met us at our hotel, and took us to all the advertised attractions. Gülşen is very knowledgeable, and we learned a tremendous about of the history and background of the mosques, bazaars, cistern, hippodrome, and palace that we visited, and knew the best spots for photos. She maintained flexibility in our schedule to efficiently lead us to our destinations, and even included some time for shopping. We also got valuable information about other Istanbul attractions including restaurants, areas to explore, and how to navigate Istanbul. 5 stars!

We’ve had a lovely day with Gulsen, she tailored the tour to our pace and wishes. We’ve learnt lot’s of interesting facts, enjoyed the sights and just talked about everything. It’s great to have an insight on Istanbul from the local person especially so knowledgeable and professional. Everything went well, we visited many places, learned so many new things about Istanbul and Turkey. It was a very eventful program with a break for delicious coffee! We took a lot of beautiful photos as souvenirs! I will recommend the guide to everyone, I really liked everything!

My wife and I had an excellent tour with Gulsen. We were met at our hotel and taken on a walking tour of several top destinations including Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, and Spice Market.
Gulsen was very friendly and knowledgeable, and everything was well organised throughout the day. We learned so much and all the additional hints and tips to get the best out of our visit to Istanbul were great.
Overall this tour was excellent value and I would highly recommended it.
