Sailing is a life changing experience!
In four hours, you will help sail a large sailing yacht into the sunny waters of Okanagan Lake. We provide hands on instruction and lots of opportunities to learn or just relax.
And it is is unbelievably beautiful! The scenery is spectacular, from the many developed wineries on The Naramata Bench to the wild natural areas and park. Photographers will love it!
The lake is warm and clean. As part of our day, we often anchor up to go for a swim or for a paddleboard. It is the perfect experience to spend a day in the outdoors to create family memories or incredible encounters with friends.
We offer more than sailing. We love people! Explore how to better navigate your life. Learn how to better respond to winds of change. We bring together the skills of sailing and life wisdom: ‘sailing with heart’. It is a mix of sunshine, laughter, friendship and also a meaningful encounter.

Celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. Heard about this sailing experience from friends. Wow, we’re glad we listened. Awesome experience. Dan and Robyn are wonderful people and very knowledgeable about sailing. And also very accommodating. The added charcuterie board made the celebration that much better! This is a terrific way to see the Okanagan Lake and the beautiful surroundings.

An unforgettable day on the water with our friends and hosts, Robyn and Dan.The views were spectacular and we were able to learn about sailing and get some hands on experience!Dan and Robyn are the ultimate gracious hosts and made us feel us right at home. Add some bubbles and charcuterie and this was one of our favourite Okanagan adventures yet!

We were on the lookout for a lasting memory and Dan & Robyn did not disappoint. They welcomed us on board and took us out on an amazing 3 hour long sail. They even let us be part of the actual sailing and showed us the ropes. (Pun intended).
We had a lovely, intimate experience. If you are looking for a fantastic time with 2 of the nicest people we’ve ever met, this is a MUST DO! We will be back

A great sailing adventure for our anniversary this afternoon. Although the weather & wind sometimes had a mind of its own, we had a great time with Dan & Robyn. Definitely a great way to see more of Okanagan Lake & experience something new in sailing. It was a lot of fun with great people who clearly love what they do and want everyone who is with them to enjoy it as well. Thank you for a wonderful time!

In harmony with nature. On our sailing adventure with this environment friendly couple, on beautiful Lake Okanagan, we learned that to achieve a goal requires a collaboration with the natural world of wind and water. That understanding seemed a universal metaphor to us.
The synergy of beautiful scenery, and gracious hosts, gave us a magnificent day of adventure aboard Anam Cara.

It was an absolute privilege to be on board the Anam Cara, and the owners Dan and Robyn were a delight to sail with! It was the perfect day with a breeze, so the sailing experience was perfect! They show you the basic idea of sailing on a 46’ boat which is so cool! We anchored in front of Sunoka beach and chilled and ate Charcuterie and drank wine. It was super relaxing! Highly recommend this experience to anyone, as it is a very rare one to come by, here in the southern Okanagan! Will do this again for sure!

My wife and I had a wonderful time aboard Dan and Robyn’s fine sailboat. They were warm inviting hosts and great guides during the 4 hour sail.
The ship is beautiful and well maintained. We will be recommending it to all of our friends and family who live or visit the area.

What a experience! So enjoyable, I'll be back - if I can manage to book a spot next year.
I booked quite a few excursions in BC but this was my favorite by a long shot.
Dan and Robyne were the hosts everyone hopes for. Engaging in sailing lingo when guests inquired and allowing them to man the helm and raise the jenny. What fun!
I didn't know what to expect, but it was very comfortable with 9 people aboard the 46 foot vessel and as a non-swimmer I never felt anxious or concerned no matter where I chose to enjoy time on the boat as Dan inquired immediately about everyone's comfort level on the water. There were washroom facilities and a lower level to hide from the sun if needed.
The winds were great when we first started out that morning, but disappeared later in the day, which affected our ability to sail, but it was still a wonderful peaceful experience motoring by some large estates on the water and enjoying a dip near a beach before heading back to the Naramata Marina.
Can't wait to see you again next year Dan and Robyn! Many thanks for a memorable experience that will keep me (and my friends) coming back and again and again.

This sailing adventure was an early Anniversary present for my husband. We both enjoyed ourselves immensely, and the hosts Dan and Robyn were very knowledgeable and lovely people!
