2300m high on Mt. Fuji closest point you can go up with a car. To go to the 5th station we need to ask you to pay the toll fee of 2100 yen on the spot. This activity usually requires about 2 hours. Please note that access to the 5th station is closed from July 10th to September 10th due to the climbing season for the climbers and also in the winter season.
12. Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nemba
A picturesque spot with Mt. Fuji in the background, old Japanese houses with straw roofs have been removed where you can find local crafts and meet local artists. Rental kimonos and samurai armors are available upon reservation. (30 to 90mn)

We had such an awesome time and great experience to see Mount Fuji. Yoshimi and the driver made the extra stop on the way back for us to see Mt. Fuji when the cloud was clear. Yoshimi is knowledgeable, very friendly and flexible with the time and places where we liked to visit. They also gave us some snacks, took us to the local restaurant for a nice lunch. Thank you to Yoshimi and the driver for the wonderful trip in Tokyo. Highlight recommend this tour!

Tomo (our tour guide) and Toshi (our driver) were great. They were knowledgeable, flexible and a lot of fun. Tomo even was able to find us a gluten free option for lunch. We would recommend them to anyone looking to do a day trip to Mt Fuji.

Mazda gave us the most amazing tour around Mt Fuji. He was knowledgeable, personable and very energetic! He took us to the best and most picturesque views of Mt Fuji and took amazing pictures of us all. He was very efficient and made the most of our time. He adjusted our schedule because of the weather and the fact that Mt Fuji was hiding in the clouds in some areas. I was thoroughly impressed with how hard he tried to make our tour the best experience! Five stars do not give this tour and Mazda justice! I will definitely recommend Mazda and his group (with whom we also toured Tokyo and had a similarly magnificent experience) to my friends and family.

We had a wonderful and informative day with Bob our guide and Kelly our driver. Bob was super engaging and made sure we were all having a great time, which we were. On our drive back to Tokyo, Bob and Kelly were so kind to recommend a restaurant for us that evening and even made us the reservation and dropped us off. Very thoughtful. Our family of four couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience!

Our guide Mazda-san was the best tour guide we had during our 14-day trip to Japan! (We had three other tour guides.) just for context, we were a group of nine of which two were young children ages 6 and 11 and we had four seniors above the age of 70+ and one disabled adult with us. Mazda-san arrived early for our Mt Fuji tour. He was very patient with our large group. He made very efficient use of time at every site that we visited. For our tour, which started in Tokyo with a pick up at 8:30AM and ended back in Tokyo at 6 PM we were able to visit:

Arakurayama Shrine
Lake Kawaguchiko with lakeside lunch
Oishi Koen Park
Lake Kawaguchiko boat tour
Saiko iyashinosato village
Ryujin dragon cave
Mt Fuji heritage site

He knew exactly where to take us for the most scenic pictures. He even carried my father’s bag and my husband‘s bookbag for us. ❤️ he took group pictures for us without us asking and airdropped all the photos to us at the end of the tour. He made smooth detours for us when my kids had to use the bathrooms.

He is also a licensed Japan tour guide, so he was very knowledgeable about all the places that we visited. I cannot say enough good things about Mazda-san. He made the entire experience stress-free. We made wonderful memories because of him.

We had such an amazing time in Hakone. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide Mazda was very knowledgeable about the area and bent over backwards to make sure we saw all that we needed to with our shortened itinerary (early dinner plans due to an oversight on our part). He was pleasant and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We would 100% book with him again!
