Rum Tasting Expirience in Punta Cana

I really enjoyed this rum tour. I was picked up at my hotel on time and brought to the venue a short drive away. After some shopping in the gift shop we were brought to the rum tasting area. It was very nicely laid out and was a really nice setting for the tasting. Felix was our guide and did a great job. Very knowledgeable and we had some good chats about world rums. They rums we tasted (4) were all very different but all of a very good quality. Great way to pass some time in Punta Cana . I would highly recommend.

We got SO much more than we bargained for. Felix was informative, patient, and kind. We came for rum and left with a wealth of knowledge. HIGHLY recommended.

Wendell was very informative, he explained the whole process about rum and its history. He was so accommodating. I highly recommend this excursion it was worth every penny.

Do not waste your money going on this tour, it is a rip off! They advertise the tour as two hours but it's not. It's less than that, on the day of my tour they wanted to pick us up after the tour had started at 11:35. If the tour starts at 11 it should start at 11, the bus ride should not be included because who knows how many others, you'll have to pick up. Also, I'd hate to be the person on the bus getting picked up at 9:30 and others are still being picked up at 11:30, who wants to spend two hours sitting on a bus while others are still being picked up. All in all, the description is very misleading, and you'll be better of just buying a bottle of rum.

The tasting was very informative and everyone was so personable and pleasant to deal with. It was my husband’s birthday and he really enjoyed his day!

We really enjoyed learning about rum and doing a professional tasting and trying foods that enhanced the flavor of the rum. Our guide, Rudy (?), was personable, knowledgeable, and entertaining.

Wendel was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone who visits Punta Cana! It was a great experience.

What an amazing experience from the presentation to the tastings. The chocolate was amazing along with the pairings which included cheese and macadamia nuts. The rum was magnificent learning the proper way to drink them was my favorite. So much shopping can be done as well for a reasonable price 10/10 would recommend again!!!

This was my husband and I’s second time doing this tour. We went in 2023 with friends and had to come back again so our family could also experience it. We ended up having the same guide as last year, Wendell. He is extremely knowledgeable of the rum and how it’s made. We always have lots of laughs with him and he truly makes us feel like we’re familia when we’re there. Not only do you get to try rum, but there is are mini tastings of their chocolate and coffee as well. The shop this experience is located in is very cute with great prices for buying unique gifts for your home or loved ones back home. We highly recommend this experience!
