Itenerary; Start from the city park in Kotor Cruising to the Our Lady of the Rocks 20 min. First stop at Our Lady of the Rocks 20 min. Cruising to the Submarine Tunnel 25 min. Visiting Submarine tunnel 5 min. Cruising to the Mamula Fortress 15 min. Sightseeing of the Mamula Fortress Cruising to the Blue Cave 10 min. Visiting and swimming in the Blue Cave 30 min. Cruising back to the city park of Kotor 55 min. We start our tour from this stunning coastal city which is full of gorgeous views like medieval well preserved old buildings by the sea called mansions or palaces made in a mix of the Baroque and Renaissance architectural styles, ancient charming fishermen villages, beautiful vegetation, old mills, the river flowing into the sea and much more.

Our first stop is a visit to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks. It is an artificial island created by a bulwark of rocks and by sinking old and seized ships loaded with rocks. The Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Rocks (Montenegrin: Gospa od Škrpjela) is the largest building on the islet and has a museum attached to it. There is also a small gift shop close to the church and a navigation light at the western end of the islet. Travelers will stop on the island and visit the church and museum if they wish, also they can buy souvenirs on the island. Our skipper will explain the history of the island and Old Town Perast which is under UNESCO protection. We will take 20 minutes of this time cruising to this point of interest.

On our way, we will pass through the strait of Verige and enter Tivat Bay whose location is the famous luxurious marina Porto Montenegro which you can see on the far left. The next stop is the Ex- Submarine Tunnel which is built by the Yugoslav Army. The outside of the opening is designed and covered by fake rocks so they would not be invisible to satellites or spy planes and passing through it is a unique experience. Plus 15 minutes cruising to the next attraction.

On the exit of the Bay of Kotor, you will see the famous Mamula Fortress and the skipper will explain the purpose of the fortress in the First and second world Wars. Due to construction already two years ago, the Fortress is closed to everyone. Plus 10 minutes cruising to the next stop.
5.
Natural caves created by wave impacts over a hundred years at the bottom of over 100-meter cliff. The captain takes you by boat to the blue cave where you have the opportunity to jump off the boat and swim in this magnificent blue sea. Snorkeling equipment is provided to you without additional payment. Certainly, this is an experience you will remember throughout your life. We will take 25 minutes of this time cruising to this point of interest. Plus 55 minutes cruising back to the meeting point.

Wonderful locations, great quide Miloš made amazing atmosphere, we enjoyed our trip and had so much fun swimming in open sea. Beautiful nature of Montenegro left us speechless.

Brilliant trip, our group of 6 loved every minute of it. The only way to see the bay and swimming the caves. Milos our captain went the extra mile and was brilliant fun with both his local knowledge and great music! Highly recommend.

Review

This trip was one of the best moments of my short time in Montenegro. Me and four friends chose the 3-6pm slot with Compass and Co. which I’d definitely recommend as you can have some lunch and do some sightseeing in Kotor beforehand and then go straight out for dinner if the feeling takes you. We were joined by another six friendly people.

Anyway, back to the speed boat tour with Milos, captain extraordinaire. He made sure everyone was happy, hydrated and safe at all times. He has a great knowledge of the local area and its history so was able to give us a great tour and answer all the questions we had.

Milos had a great playlist and sound system for us all to party (safely!) onboard, but it was his humour that created the perfect vibe!

Water, fizzy drinks and beer are provided and we brought our own wine. There were ample opportunities to get off the boat and explore - on foot at Perast and in the water at the cave. Do not be put off as a non-swimmer, you can stay on the boat for the time the others in the water and drink wine and be entertained!

100% coming back for another tour when I return to Montenegro.

Not nice driver, crowded boat, only two stops, the rest is just looking at sites from a far. You will spend the whole time in the boat except a 10 minute swim we had to beg for goggles for (even though we were told snorkel equipment was included). Very choppy water and fast driving boat led to a painful boat ride.
For the price, you can get a much better experience finding one advertised along the harbor.
