Many Charleston Ghost Tours have big groups of 25+ - NOT HERE!! We limit our tour sizes to about 10 to keep them fun! Charleston is one of the most charming and colorful cities in the world; however, when the light fades and shadows grow long, a darker side of the Holy City emerges. Over the course of just over 1 mile long, our 90 min walk will pass haunted graveyards, churches, alleyways, hotels, restaurants, and bars. You will hear the real and terrifying stories of ghostly brides, murders, pirates, soldiers, executions, duels, and so much more! As the night falls over the streets of Charleston, we start by the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon and walk through the historic streets where you will hear about real, and active spirits from Charlestons 350 year history like pirates whose lives were cut short at the end of a noose, a young lady who wonders down a particular alley, and a doctor who walks throughout the Holy City. Great tour with a small group! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun! Would highly recommend this for all ages!

The history and stories were so interesting but, Brandon made this even better! You can tell he is passionate about preserving the true history of the locations we visited and of the City of Charleston through his storytelling and facts. He doesn’t talk “at you” the entire time and he doesn’t use a script like a lot of other tour groups. He engages with everyone. My son had a few good conversations with him while we walked from location to location. HIGHLY recommend this ghost tour to anyone looking for a spooky experience!

Brandon was very nice and I appreciated the smaller group size for sure. We were all able to hear his stories easily. I have been on other ghost tours not in Charleston but in other cities so I feel I had a fairly accurate expectations of the tour so I was a little disappointed because Brandon, in trying to build suspense and give the whole story, tended to go on too long and lose my attention and by the time he got to the end of the story, it wasn’t as exciting as the build up.

WOW! We had such an incredible experience on our Real Hauntings of Charleston Tour. Brandon is an incredible storyteller who could not be more knowledgeable about the history of Charleston. He was so respectful of the history of the city while also being extremely personable. We were locked in for every story and my jaw was dropped during most of them. Brandon was also very thoughtful and texted us ahead of time that he would provide us with ponchos for our tour in the rain. I was able to listen in to a few other tours around us or passing by and I felt like nobody quite captured the stories like Brandon did. I would 100% recommend this tour, it has been the highlight of our trip!

This tour was so good! Brandon was a fantastic guide blending the perfect amount of history, story telling, humor, and ghosts. My husband and I loved being able to walk around and see the city from a new angle. We enjoyed the small group especially as it made the tour feel more personal and enjoyable.

Brandon was a great guide! We learned so much about the history of Charleston! We had 12 people total, making it a much better experience than a large group. I highly recommend this tour!
